This guy has some kind of personal issue with Steve. I personally think he is full of crap. He won't tell us who he really is, and where his sources are coming from. He is simply one of the many trolls Steve has on his blog. Some of those trolls are even here on the forum.
I am calling for an act of Silence from the fans! Whenever any of Steve Whitmiere's characters are on stage no one applaud scream cheer and laugh. Let's show Disney we want Steve back!
No, Kermit should not have stayed silent!
You make this out to be like anyone at anytime could and should be able to pick up A kermit puppet and preform him for anything! Which has been the mindset Disney has had since they bought the Muppets back in 2004. That is what Steve, and the other...

I have also felt that fan sites like this...
Well they do have that live concert at the Hollywood Bowl, and I'm sure Steve is not going to be there. Plus Kermit is the main character of the Muppets, and he would have to be recast-ed.
Well I think that Steve is thinking that this is a bit like the issue the Muppets had in 2004. If I recall correctly, fans where the one who spearheaded that whole issue, and I think that is what Steve is wanting to happen with this current issue as well.
