Okay, while I was a lil jumpy on what I thought they were gonna talk about, I must admit, I was pretty impressed with that clip on nbc.com, especially the bit with all the guys coming into that lil girl's house... everyone was heard! I especially loved Lew Zealand's line, "Merry Christmas...
So was the Kermit/Piggy spot filled with amazing banter about how Piggy says they're married, but Kermit says they're not? Any pig jokes? What about those swamp/pad/flipper/ jokes that just never seem to get old? Did they plug their upcoming, emmy-nominated special that airs the 17th? Any jokes...
The book is really good, but for those of you older folks in the crowd, if you've read the book and liked it, don't see the movie; it'll sorta drop the reading value of the book. The movie is an embarrassment. Both IT and The Stand are great books, but don't see the movie it was based off of...
Well someone on here had said they'd mentioned the inkspots, which I thought was kinda cool; I always thought that they were meant to be seen and never talked about, much like the fungus growing in Gonzo's house. Seriously though, that must be a cool tidbit.
As soon as I get the boxed set...
Here we are, discussing what it means to be a leader and whether or not Doozers are important when we should be talking about the real problem in this universe... why is Boober a nudist? lol j/k
I've got a bunch of Star Wars stuff I need to get rid of... if any of you are looking for figures, here's over half of my own collection on ebay, up for grabs. There's even a few unopened, hard-to-find figures as well. If interested either go on and bid or hit me up here with any questions...
OH! I was just thinking about this a few minutes ago. Anyone here notice that Jerry Nelson does the lead character for nearly all the 'worlds' except ours? Gobo Fraggle, Architect Doozer, Pa Gorg (king), and Marjorie?
Well I guess that, by ditzy, I was sort of referring to her the way Kathryn Mullen referred to her in the S3 bonus features, when she called her, "Mr. Magoo-ish".
Also, I do agree with how you may think that Cantus didn't plan it... but in Honk of Honks, he pretty much ignores Gobo's story...
These are some excellent points, guys. Starting with Trial of Cotterpin... I love Large Marvin and Feeny, but the whole 'rescuing Cotterpin from the baby cackler' thing was sorta silly and fake. And yeah, it's difficult for Doozers to carry a story, basically because of the lack of range of...
Hey gang, while most of us may not have the boxed set, I'm sure there's enough of us who've seen all 96 episodes to weigh in on what they thought of the last 24. Aside from the last three, some of the better episodes, for me, were Sidebottom Blues, Tune For Two, Red's Blue Dragon, Brush With...
Man... hearing about how crappy the boxed set is makes me worry that my DVD's are gonna scratch and that not all of them are gonna play right, not to mention being unsatisfied with how little art is on this thing, which is something I've been wanting since I was a lil tike.
Someone needs to be a "Fraggle Pal" and post some of the bonus material on youtube lol... I'd love to see the part where they came up with different ideas for the opening theme, and see the footage. But yeah, the other parts, like the wrap party, Inner Gorg, and the interviews with Balsam and...
Here's a few names of the Fraggles that've made it to the foregrounds alongside the Fraggle Five and Uncle Matt...
Feeny, Marlin, Large Marvin, Tosh, Freida, Lou, Storyteller, Molly, Uncle Gobo, World's Oldest, Henchy, Rumble, and Morris. The more significant Fraggles that've only made one or...
Christmas Toy question
Hey, I saw that they released this special on DVD, however without Kermit. But I was curious... what's this special about? Is it "Tales Of The Bunny Picnic" good or "The Muppets Go To The Movies" good? lol In other words, is it geared more towards kids than the general...
BTW... and I'm sure this is elsewhere, but I figured someone could also answer it here just in case... but how much is the box set going for at Hastings, Suncoast, Best Buy, etc? I'm tryin to search around for the best prices. Again, thanks getup. :smirk: :excited: :coy:
