Well I don't know what was taken out when it was in syndication, but they do have U.S. Acres "Quickies" on the DVD. Except they're not called U.S. Acres, they're called "Orson's Farm," which I think is what it was called outside the US.

There's actually two Garfield DVDs out now. One is called Garfield as Himself and has three of the prime time Garfield TV specials on it (Here Comes Garfield, Garfield on the Town, and Garfield Gets a Life). The other DVD is a 3 disc set of episodes from the Garfield and Friends TV Saturday...
You all are very hardcore fans and this is a very thourough message board, so I do apologize if I am repeating common knowledge here.
I was watching my DVD of Garfield and Friends and one episode made a Muppet Babies reference (since they were both showing at around the same time, at the...
I think they had film clips from King Kong on several occaisions.
Anyone remember the episode where they all play video games? (Pretendo). So...many...game...references.

My favorite was "The Adventure of Link Sausage"
Wow, I don't remember Bert having any extended family. I remember Ernie's cousin Ernestine. I liked it when Ernie tried to teach her to say 'Ernie' but she wouldn't, and then Bert walked in and she said, "Bert!" Also Cookie Monster had a baby relative who didn't like cookies, which distressed...
You can do this with a lot of PSOne games. Try putting in Namco Museum vol. 1, 2, or 3 into a CD player and get some cool Pac-Man and Namco remixes!

I need to find Muppet Monster Adventure and Muppet Racing Mayhem.
I've said this before on the board somewhere, but when I was little and Oscar would come on TV, I'd run and get a paper plate and put it on my head like a trash can lid.

But my best friend who would watch Sesame Street with me, would run to the bathroom and get a towel to put around...
Julia Childs was in a hilarous public service announcement about fire safety on a TV network when I was living in Austin a few years ago in college.
The Swedish Chef should be on Iron Chef. Maybe he could beat the Yellow Chef (I call him Chef Sweaty).

Must've been a slow news day for that newspaper if they're just taking cute pictures and putting cute comments next to it. :)
I've seen that coin-op ride on toy before. Little kids sit next to baby Kermit in a car. It's a very little ride on, too. I don't think I could fit my entire hiney...
Thanks, MuppetsDownUnder, that sounds pretty slick! The fake guillotine thing sounds like something from House of the Dead. A Sonic rollercoaster...bet it had a loopy loop in it.
Now they need to make a Namco theme park.

I don't collect stamps, but I do have a set of "classic newspaper comic strip" stamps that they produced a while back. I got them because it had Little Nemo in Slumberland on one of the stamps. I may have to get the Muppet stamps, too! Now if they'd only put Pac-Man on a stamp...

I never joined this thread because I thought Pen Pals meant pen and paper only.
I met a few of my best friends in college through e-mail. Turned out we lived in the same town and now we do things together like an arcade auction this weekend! (www.superauctions.com)
I also talk with...
Aw that's too bad. I only had two Muppet records but I don't have them anymore. The ones I had were the soundtrack to the Muppet Movie and some Sesame Street disco record.
I don't have those anymore, but I did save some other records. One was Pac-Man Fever (http://www.bucknergarcia.com/)...
Sounds like a lazy eye thing. I have a similar thing with my left eye. The optic nerve never developed.
I'm completely blind in my left eye (since birth) and I have tunnel vision in my right eye. Other than that I can see just fine. I don't wear glasses unless I'm doing something like...
I like just about everything Oscar the Grouch does.
Loved his cameo in Great Muppet Caper.
I hope I'm not imagining things, but I seem to remember an early 80's episode of Sesame Street where Oscar goes up into space in a trash can and they show pictures of the moon. Anyone remember that...
That's pretty interesting! What kinds of attractions did Sega World have? Rides? Game kiosks? Costumed characters?

A Space Channel 5 dance party?
Here's an interesting fact. Did you know that a long time ago, before Six Flags had the Looney Tunes Land kids section of the theme park, at one point at the Six Flags in Dallas, the kid section of the park was called Pac-Land? This was back in the early 80's when the arcade game Pac-Man was...
