Anyone remember the series of skits where Cookie spends the night at Ernie's and has nightmares about cookies? The singing cookies torturing him in his nightmare looked like Pac-Man.

At an anime convention in Dallas a long time ago called "Project A-Kon" I met and talked with Don Messick (R.I.P.). He may not sound like a celebrity but most of the voices you hear on classic Hanna Barbera cartoons are his. Scooby Doo, Scrappy, Papa Smurf, Ruff & Reddy, Muttley...the list...
When I was writing game reviews for a major Texas newspaper, I made a lot of money in college writing about Pokemon, so I guess I do have more than just a passing interest in it. Some of my little brothers really like Pokemon, too. It's a bit overmarketed, but the video game itself is actually...
They're funny in a slapstick comedy kind of way. Probably not quite as good as classic Muppets, though. But they were still kind of funny little idiots.

Normally I won't post my game reviews here so as to not annoy you folks, but I really wanted you all to take a look at this one. Katamari Damacy is such a unique and charming game. And as always, please visit www.gamerdad.com, a great gaming Web site for parents and families.
Katamari...
Sorry if this has already been posted, but a relative of mine gets Good Housekeeping magazine, and in it is an advertisement for some figurines and things from The Hamilton Collection...whatever that is. Anyway, one of the things you can order is Kermit on a motorcycle. I guess I can find that...
Someone told me the SuperFriends DVD has audio commentary by Jeffrey Scott.
It's the logic in SuperFriends that gets me.
I LOVE the Pac-Man cartoon, too. I'm a huge Pac-Man fan and I even have a Pac-Man arcade machine in my garage. But man, that cartoon had some really dopey writing on...
Well, I don't know if this is still true or not, but last time I was at Disney World a few years ago, they had a Bear live show. It was very cute.

Heh, I have a love/hate thing with Jeffrey Scott. One the one hand, he helped write great cartoons like Muppet Babies and TaleSpin (he did DuckTales, too, but I credit Carl Barks old comic stories more than him). But on the other hand, he wrote a lot of crap cartoons like SuperFriends...
All the same, we watched some crappy shows when we were little, too. Go back and watch the old He-Man cartoon. Ugh. And as much as I love Pac-Man and the cartoon, it really wasn't that good. And then shows like Transformers, which I watched religously when I was little, was nothing more than...
Yeah muppetsforever that is a sweet and heartfelt song. If I weren't so lazy I could go through the DVD and pick out the words to that song...but...I probably won't. Sorry.
I don't get Toon Disney or Boomerang! Ergh! Oh well, don't have much time for TV anyway.

I'd love to see Disney release some of their old "Disney Afternoon" lineup on DVD as well. DuckTales was such a well-written show.
I've been eyeing that ALF DVD at Wal-Mart lately. I wonder if that's worth it. Garfield and Friends certainly was.

Also, sometimes the way Treelo talks on Bear in the Big Blue House gets kind of annoying.
When Muppets Tonight was on TV, I didn't really get into the Johnny Fiama and Sal sketches. But I think I need to watch them again since I don't remember them as well.
I really didn't like Clifford...
Even my least favorite Muppets have one or two qualities that I like, so there's really not a Muppet that I hate.
Never was a big Miss Piggy fan. But she still cracks me up.
Can't say I'm much of an Elmo fan either. He's great in small doses, but a World and a movie later, and it's a bit...
I played bass trombone in middle and high school. It's like a regular trombone, but bigger and more tuba-ish sounding. Never was very good, but I sure was LOUD!
As soon as Donkey Konga (GameCube), and Taiko Drum Master (PS2) come out, I guess I'll be a bongo and taiko drum player as well...
