In all seriousness, Buck, if you want to market to the masses then $15-$25. Realistically, with your expertise, $35-50 is not unreasonable. However, I have found, beginning builders who need patterns that are simple in order to learn and develop their own art are reluctant to drop big bucks into...
Puppets without fun defeat the purpose. We always do funny stuff with meaning, but there is a fine balance between too much and not enough (trust me, I've done both).
We just performed "I Love Rock and Roll" with Christian lyrics in childrens church on Sunday. One of my puppeteers laid down...
Also, consider single performer vs. multiple performers. There were a few people that helped in what Shari Lewis did, but not nearly the scope. There was really no one to carry on. Factor in what SK and Vic said and the dream just dies.
Shoot, if JHC passed with Jim, then look at the amount...
You can learn the basics by building a kit, buying a pattern or reading the Foam Book but there's no clear cut answers on how-to build or what to use. (There's plenty of suggestions and information on these boards regarding what the ultra-cool kids are making, good stuff) That's the beauty of...

I'm sorry man. I was just seeing if you were truly tubby, cubby and stuffed with fluff. Then I realized there was a man inside and that Winnie the Pooh was really a ruthless, blood-thirsty, man eating killer.
Scarred for life.
My "team" does a similar thing in our "puppet room" but we use 45s instead of 90s (degree elbows). They stick out further, but we can get more puppets per square inch of wall space. If you count all the crappy cheap store bought puppets I "inherited", I'm storing 35-40 puppets not counting the...
Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, TN did do a live action Clifford show. There were two performers inside a large, large (I'd say 8-10' tall) costume and granted the mouth action on the dog was limited, but it has been done.
