Okay, let's first admit a slightly off-color remark (or what may be taken as off-color) was made. The information in this thread is good for those who are interested in improving their building because it sparks ideas. The title does say "Mature" and should serve as a warning, however there is...
Saw this yesterday. Its really, really good and was the builders first attempt. I like the fact that she has collar bones...
Now if she were only real...*wink, wink
You may have seen this already, but in case not, it's a Rit Dye chart.

It may not be much help, but good info none the less.
(check out celery...it may be close...idunno...there are a lot of greens...)
No puppet, but I am making a moose tonight for a promotional video we plan on shooting Wednesday for the Artic Edge. I'm currently working on daily scripts. Good luck. It looks like this will be the "coolest" (ha, ha, pun) Lifeway VBS in years.
I went. It was very entertaining and inspiring. It was nice to be in front of the curtain for a change. There's a lot of great puppet people in and around Cincinnati.
Thanks for posting this, too. I would have missed it otherwise.
Good info that I found out the hard way. Our system only accomodates 6 which is what we bought. It should serve us well over the next few years, though.
Rack mountable stuff would have been better too. Live, learn...
I don't think so, but I'm not sure. I'm just getting into this sound engineering thing. My cousin (who is also one of my puppeteers) is a wiz at all this stuff. I'm just trying to pick up what I can at this point.
Those mics work really well and are pretty comfortable, but they are super sensitive. So far no problems with them, but we're still playing around with them.
I just ordered six of these http://www.pssl.com/bitemdetail.tpl~waGroup1datarq~SHU01~eqint_KeyIDdata~1710~UID~2006032106544228~newproduct~T~itemNumber~THS%2001
I don't know if they make a portable "battery" board/recorder or not, but the sales rep that I dealt with was great and really knew...
Buck,
My puppets usually fall in the 15-25" (half-body) category. I've made bigger and smaller, but this size is just about right for what I do with them. *wink, wink, nudge, nudge* Seriously, in developing patterns for myself this is just the size they worked out to be.
I, too, am...
My inital thought was along this line except running the string out the bottom of the puppet and operating it with your rod arm hand. (Not as sophisticated, true)
