Disney's Christmas parades are literally hour long Disney Parks ads, but at least they go all the way and have the feel you expect from the Disney brand. But, somehow, adding all those pop songs made the Mickey special feel even more like a commercial.
Ugh, same. That movie was so much sadder than most of their other ones. It used to come on TV all the time when I was little, I loved it but always felt really sad watching it. But it's definitely an underrated gem, same goes for The Great Mouse Detective and Oliver and Company.

Oh yeah, the day after Halloween everything's full fledged Christmas (with a few leftover Halloween commercials). I can just picture retailers and people at radio stations last night, just rubbing their hands together waiting for it to strike midnight like it's New Year's Eve.
Yay! I can't stand when the audio on soundtracks is just lifted straight from the movie or special. Like, why would I want to pay for audios of whole scenes if I can just watch them on Youtube?
