I spent a wonderful Christmas with my family (and my sister's boyfriend). We watched movies, played games. I played The Oregon Trail card game for the first time, it was really fun. Also, I got my first laptop! Yay! :)

Yeah, I had definitely thought (hoped) they were done. But when I saw them airing rerunning A Christmas Story Live a few days ago, I figured there would be another one. Still, Rent is broadway, so it should translate better.

Yeah, I never liked this story. It's not even a story, honestly, it's just the same gag over and over again. This really should've just been a two minute sketch. A total waste of Will Arnett's talents.

Eh, it's scientifically proven that people's tastes in music basically stay the same from the time they're teenagers. So, no matter what, people are always gonna like the music they grew up with, or music that has similar qualities to music they grew up with. Pop music, minus a few exceptions...

Ah, Sofia is back, I see. She seems to show up whenever they touch on heavy topics. I wonder if it's because these are filmed in between seasons, so none of the regular cast members are available, or if she's a child therapist or something.

I love it. It's one of the main Muppet related Christmas specials that I watch every year!

Because, one sounds like rape in a more modern context, the other sounds like someone enjoying/desiring a normal human thing. Obviously people are overreacting to a short little line in a Christmas song, but are they really overreacting that much? I mean, can you really blame people for thinking...

Yeah, definitely seems pretty dramatic for the show. Still, I wonder if this episode is at all canon. Are Snuffy and Alice's parents divorced? I can't really recall their father ever being mentioned.
