Just a friendly tip. i found this while surfing after resources: Cutting and sewing fake fur It explains how to get an even cut without destroying the strands aswell as getting strands out of the seams.

Don't know if this has been up before, but i just found this great guide to assemble a foam puppet head, similar to my guide (which is not online at the moment, sorry). If you're a newbie, this is just what you need. Go here to view it.
