If you don't think that syndicated shows should be released because they're on all the time, then why choose Seinfeld? I'm a huge fan of the show, but it's on every channel all day and all night it seems. Why couldn't you grab those too? I'm more interested in stuff that has been OFF the air...
I believe I heard the name Tiggie in a Kids In The Hall skit...very funny...
Kevin MacDonald calls his friend (played by Dave Foley) over to his house to show him a surprise. He pulls out a small dog and says "Ta-daaa!! It's my new dog! Her name is Tiggie." Foley is unimpressed as the dog...
I used to think it was only the ending of the Canadian Sesame's! Then I got a copy of #514 and it was on there. I was a little surprised. That RIDICULOUSLY fast drum intro always caught my attention. Sorry, but that's all I have to say, don't know anything about it either. I've never...
You know, most of the critics picked Cyndi over Madonna in the early eighties as the one who would last, mostly because she could sing. (Love that note that goes on forever at the end of "Money Changes Everything"!) I've had the 45 of "I Drove All Night" for years and it's always been my fave...
You'd be surprised how much stuff like that circulates freely. I used to frequent record-collector shows twice a year when I lived in London, ON and there were TABLES full of bootleg concerts and shows, all on bulk-blank VHS. That was the only way my brother and I could see Jeff Buckley a few...
I've been a fan of those albums all my life and still am! I'm also a musician and find great joy in listening closely to how intricate the arrangements are. I agree there isn't much info on that stuff, though.

I used to watch Steve Smith (the guy that plays Red) on a variety show with his wife in the eighties called "Smith And Smith". It was even MORE TMS like, as it was that kind of disjointed-varitey-like type of thing. He used to play all sorts of characters. One that always made me laugh was...
I thought it was great! I loved the choice to go with hardcore funk throughout the entire movie, and I don't think it was too much of a departure for them. The soundtrack totally sets a mood that the movie is upbeat and fun. Storyline: not too farfetched for them, either. I don't think...
That's right, wasn't it actually produced by ITV (Thames Television, UK) anyway? It was a Sir Lew Grade Production, I believe, and licensed to US stations, that is why there are the extra skits. We were only seeing the edited versions. But, to be fair, I remember seeing the show on our local...
That's so sad! I'm not too crazy about the new announcer either. Although, Rod had to grow on me after Johnny Olsen died, too. Gotta love the jackets. Bob always made a point of drawing attention to them (like they needed pointing out!)
Thanks for the link. Yeah, I've tried forums for TRS-80, or at least I would if there were any left. Seems this computer is falling by the wayside. It was such a big part of my youth, and I don't want to let it go. Sound familiar, Muppet Central? :) Anyway, I was just putting out the word...
I've always thought that looked like a pretty good Jim-Kermit, too. You'd think it WOULD be Frank, since he'd know Jim's movements pretty well by then. After all, he was Rowlf's right hand on the Jimmy Dean show, so they worked pretty closely!

I'm getting very frustrated trying to find games (on cassette) for my CoCo2! Those of you with this particular classic computer will know what I'm talking about. I have a perfectly working unit, with joysticks, and 1 game (on a ROM cartridge!) and the programming book that came with it in...
Also, did anyone remember to bring a vcr and some tape with them so we can tape some original sesame's? :)
Erin, you really know your Beatles dates. Not too bad! Did you know that only three of the Beatles were at that particular session and that it would be the "last" Beatles recording...
Beautiful! Just beautiful! The amount of detail you guys cover still amazes me. BTW, how are you getting full length UK copies of the show if most of them were never released? (probably a dumb question, I guess someone in the UK taped them, huh?) The quality of the pics is stunning. Being...
I got an email once from Eddie Deezen! He's very nice and apparently answers all of his email. For those of you that don't know, he's made quite a living playing a nerd. He was in "Midnight Madness", "War Games", he was Eugene in "Grease", and now his voice pops up on numerous cartoons...
