Yeah, I think she voiced other animated characters too. I'm thinking she might have done a voice in one of the Flintstones movies as well either "I Yabba-Dabba-Doo" or "Hollyrock-a-bye Baby."
Yeah, I just got the news on Facebook. She was great in SS and TMS and as Delilah/Fred in "Good Will Haunting" for all you Sabrina fans. ;)
Sad, but after her series of strokes, I had a feeling she was going to leave us sooner or later. She will be greatly missed.
Well, folks, it finally happened. I ordered HBOMax so now I can see the non-Julia episodes without having to wait five months. Yeah, good episode. Louie seems to be getting more and more airtime lately, or shall I say Senor Louie like Rosita called him. :)
I liked the Mecha Builders too. It's...
No, I'm not April fooling this time. I do have a valid question.
Can someone tell me when the annual Julia-centered episode will air on PBS this month?
I know those don't always air on Mondays like the other first run PBS episodes and I did miss one a few years back so I kinda want to be alert...
I kind of knew this was an April fool's joke, but that would be cool if that happened if they can show Michelle Tanner and Nicky and Alex Katsopolis getting disciplined on "Full House," then why not the SS muppets? Though Big Bird really did get a time out one time.
I've got big news for everyone. I probably won't be able to post here for a while. I'll be joining the army and will be away for an indefinite amount of time and won't have Internet access. If anyone could send me tapes of the new SS eps and any new Muppet projects, that would be greatly...
It's actually a shame Frank's not around anymore, he could have performed Bert or Grover when they interacted. (Frank Oz of course. I know he's still alive just not so much with Muppets or SS.)
I definitely liked the sketch with Kel Whatshisname and Grover though. Kinda reminds me of the early...
Yeah, I forgot about Leonard, maybe since he wasn't the guest star, guest star. He just happened to appear in that ep. I think that may have been the case with Little Richard as well. I'll have to look that up.
Wow! Makes me wish I had time to watch all 75 of those eps as a tribute.
Just a side note, I know we have added "Muppets Tonight!" Guests to this list as well, at least I have, so we also have Tony Bennett, Prince, Coolio, Don Rickles, which takes us up to 79. Who am I missing?
Actually, I can think of quite a few that are still with us, starting from season 1, there's Joel Grey, Ruth Buzzi, Rita Moreno, Paul Williams, Sandy Duncan, Candice Bergman and possibly one or two of the Mummenschanz. I think you already covered our surviving guest stars from later seasons. ;)
Trouble is whenever they do an episode about sign language they sort of forget Linda ever existed. Both Elmo and Alan had known about sign language when she was around. There was the same lack of continuity when Bob's niece Samara was introduced. Come on, people, get with the program.
I thought the same too. Big Bird and Snuffy are still best pals after 53 years (including the 14 of those years where he dealt with the frustration of trying to prove Snuffy was real.)
Also, you have to commend Marty for being one of the few Muppeteers from the classic era of the show...
