Well, sadly I had my phone on vibrate and went to bed early yesterday and so missed getting together with my friends today for "Anti Valentine's Day", waaah! Hehe, well the nice thing is that when I finally contacted them, they let me know how relieved they were I was OK. It's nice to have...
You know I think you're right! Lol
And you know, little trivia tidbit here, an author was with John and Paul when they were writing that song and the original line was "Do you believe" but then they changed it to "Would you believe" because they thought it sounded a bit stronger and different...
I think that's a good idea. Like I said, you do what you have to do (legally of course hehe).
Yeah I mean I don't wish for a depression but I do think people have become too complacent.
A lot of people just out of college end up working in retail positions until something in their field comes along. To do otherwise when you need money would be foolish. And if your field does not produce positions right away, luckily you might have money to take classes on the side and find ways...
Very true, it's sad that money always becomes more important. I know a lot of people who don't like unions now, but I really don't want to go back to the way things were before their existence!
They have no reason to do that, until and unless it makes them money. I think Capitalism is a good...
Sounds good to be, next time I do a write in, you'll be on it! ;)
Absolutely right, both parties are held back by the extreme groups when in reality, most Americans are pretty moderate (though on some occasions I think they should be more, hehe).
I understand your frustration, I do...
See, from my perspective, you not only described the Republican party, but the Democrat party as well. There is no real difference. Opposite, but identical. ;)
Well I agree that the third parties need to be more organized and in some cases less crazy, hehe. But again, the parties currently in...
I do occasionally see Muppet related cards in the stores, I would check around a bit. Good luck!
Or you could try going creative with a photo from the Web, I've done that. :)
I do think we take their puppetry skills for granted, simply because they are so good. It's a testament to them that we often forget just how amazing it is. If you turn off the sound on a Bert and Ernie sketch...you'll probably want to turn the sound back on, lol. However, it does pay to take a...
It's hard, I mean, I personally don't mind that he put stuff about alternative energy in his bill. We can't keep putting this off for the sake of big business. How much time has the planet got?
At the same time, there are other important issues I vehemently disgree with him about. And they are...
I think we've seen all the good political experience can do. Heh ;)
Still, you're right, a third party isn't the magical solution. But it would be more democratic and potentially more beneficial to have more options beyond the wealthy few. That's why we have the two parties. Not because...
Eh, even if the recession is fixed, we'll still be in trouble as long as the present two party system remains intact. We get what we continue to vote for, hehe.
I was very lucky that my relative was able and willing to buy the set for me. In my current situation, I would not have bought the set on my own (at its original price), no matter how much I wanted it. Sometimes you just have to be patient. ;)
As much I dislike Obama, I won't shoot myself in the foot here. I do hope he is able to help the country out of this.
Btw, here's my latest little Blog entry on this recession and unemployment epidment, hehe.
Well I do want to say, as much as I love Fraggle Rock, no one should feel forced to buy anything. Sort of reminds of the episode "Manny's Land of Carpets." ;)
And I still don't think a future single release is completely out of the question. That or a further reduction in the box set price...
