    Little things we've noticed

Frank was certainly the most consistent, I feel, especially with Grover and Cookie. Bert was kind of hit or miss, particularly in later years.

    Little things we've noticed

Even though "Everyone Likes Ice Cream" is infamous for Caroll's lack-luster puppeteering performance, ironically, I think it includes one of Jim's best puppeteering performances - he really nails every syllable well in that one.

    Little things we've noticed

I won't argue with that, but I think we can also agree (and even Jim has said so) that he really had one of the best singing voices among the group.

    Little things we've noticed

We've discussed this before, but yeah, and as I've pointed out before, it's really noticable in "Readers of the Open Range," so much so it almost looks as if Jerry isn't even putting any effort in lip syncing here: Even Jim has examples of this, particularly with Ernie, and I don't know if the...

"The Muppets Take Santa Barbara" at the PuppetPalooza Festival March 2, 2018

$50 isn't a bad price for tickets . . . but being all the way on the other side of the country, it'd cost a buttload more just on travel and accommodations to even attend this thing.

Machine Sewing: What Are Your Thoughts?

Hands are tough, especially fingers, because they're really small, and really curved, which makes it very challenging to stay in control of the stitching if you're hand sewing.

I too was curious and puzzled by the sudden down time earlier today, but nevertheless, as always, good to have MC back.

    Questions about anything

You have to get permission and pay royalties to use a song in your work, but do you have to do the same if you quote another character's catch phrase?

    Learn Something New Everyday Thread

Ooh. I think he was Tinky Winky #2, but he seems to have been the most well-known of the Tinky Winky's . . . or, at least, whenever there are rare interviews with the cast, he's usually the one they include. Nevertheless . . . froze to death. Wow.

Which one? I think they recasted Tinky Winky two or three times. They fired the first guy over that whole gay controversy started by that American pastor.

    Learn Something New Everyday Thread

I don't even know what Piggly Wiggly is like, we don't have them where I live. Then again, we don't have 7-11 either, though I know they're a major convenience chain. It's funny how we're a major city, yet we have more local chains and such than we do major national chains.

Machine Sewing: What Are Your Thoughts?

Playing around with it myself until I got it to way I got it now, I've found that two things that causes the bunching is if you pull and tug on the thread too hard as you're sewing, and if you sew too close to the edges of the fabric.

    Questions about anything

I've always hated politics, that's nothing new under the sun - I've hated politics since I was old enough to know what politics were, and honestly, I try hard to avoid them at all costs: even during the 2016 election year, I was a draft dodger by weaseling out of going out and ringing doorbells...

    The New New Quote Thread

GEORGE: I knew I shouldn't have worked out today, now I'm gonna be sweatin' all through the meeting. JERRY: So what? You took a shower. GEORGE: Nah, it wouldn't take. I can feel it, I'm like a human heat pump. KRAMER: You ought to take cold showers. GEORGE: Cold showers? They're for psychotics...

What made you roll your eyes today thread?

Fantastic. I've never used After Effects before, so I don't know if using it in conjunction with Premiere is what's giving you problems or not, I don't know. I just recently finally decided to upgrade to the latest version, and while I do like the somewhat sleeker look of the interface and...

The... -wait fer it-... "What made you laugh today?" Thread

So . . . Patrick Star is Demented Dr. Seuss now? Hmm. Funny, but one line from his lyrical poem needs to be addressed: Make up your mind, m'kay?
