I see nothing wrong with talking about religion here if it's respectful (D'Snowth is right, most other forums are quite cruel and intolerant). And I also don't mind talking about homosexuality, again in a respectful manner. Don't think we should have to choose.
There's VHS copies at The Metropolitan Museum of Art giftshops in NYC. Other than that, the best place to look is the Internet. They really ought to finally get it on DVD.
Well that's as far as I'll contribute to the conversation. Ignore means ignore, I don't want to gossip.
No offence to anyone, just don't like where it's headed.
Yeah and I'm pretty sure that's the scene they were talking about, where the puppeteers were really visible. I can understand of course why they'd want to clean it up, but so many years later, it would be nice to see! As a child I probably wouldn't have quite understood what I was seeing, lol...
Yeah I mean obviously I see both intolerance and compassion from both sides at different times, depending on the person and situation. People are people. We just like to put labels on ourselves and each other and that causes much of the confusion, hehe.
I like to describe myself as a Hippie...
Very well put! Well you know it's usually the extremes of either (and any) group that cause the problems.
I just saw an old silent film from 1929 about the fight between an extremist athiest and extremist religious person. The subtitle described them as "Intolerence vs. Intolerence." I think...
I'll check for that (it's fun playing spot the Muppeteer lol). But yeah that's not what I've read about, I believe it's supposed to have just after the song when they're outside looking at Kermit and Fozzie in the car.
Btw you know the scene in Muppet Movie where Gonzo first goes up with the balloons and Fozzie taps on Kermit's shoulder? If you watch that scene in letterbox format (I believe), for a second you can see Richard off to the side performing Fozzie's arm. Seriously! Lol
I think I read somwhere...
Seriously I've seen a few people on the Web use his little catchphrases, and everyone knows exactly what they're talking about, lol.
My favorite at the moment is the Ninja Turtles Coming Out of Our Shells Tour review. Takes me back to a simpler time when the Turtles were everywhere. Ah...
I was taking a class the other day and we were asked what websites we frequent. Naturally I mentioned Muppet Central, to the laughter of all present, lol. The teacher asked who my favorite Muppet was and I chose to say Scooter. Note sure he knew who I was talking about, but I was still proud! ;)
Oh cool! I didn't know if anyone else here liked him. I'm going to end up gushing, but I think all his reviews are brilliantly funny! He's pretty much added ten years to my life, lol. :halo:
