Sometimes I wonder though just how many of those people who were included in the shout out are still subscribed after all these years, let alone if any of them are even still on YouTube. There's a lot of usernames (or references to usernames) I don't recognize/remember years later. :smirk:
I . . . don't even remember. But yeah, it would have been from 2008, and it was when my channel had reached a total of 10,000 views (which was actually impressive for a small channel back then).
After all these years, and the only comment I remember from the original upload was @Oscarfan...
My entire room darn-near reflected in those sunglasses in the "SHOUT OUT!!!" video (back when you were wattamack).
The camera and tripod also reflect in the oven door in one of his Thanksgiving episodes.
These things could not be helped.
But as far as the first two go . . . hey, gimme a...
Thanks to a couple of 3D printers on Etsy, I was finally able to custom order some accessories I've been wanting for my model for years, like Big Bird's mailbox. . . .
And some tables and chairs for the Arbor. . . .
(Now if I could just get another 3D printer to respond to my custom order...
No way man! Like I said, I knew what a rare opportunity it was last fall, and I just felt like if I didn't take the opportunity while I had it, I'd probably never get it again. No, Caroll wasn't in the best of shape, but it was still and honor just to meet and speak with him for a few minutes...
Yyyeah . . . some parents do tend of go overboard with capturing almost every single, individual thing their kids do. Remember how in the old days when proud parents would whip out their wallets, and that according-style plastic fold-out would always have new pictures of their kids that they'd...
Yep. As I've said before, of the cast members I met at the Knoxville Fanboy Expo last year, Bob was perhaps the warmest and most converse of them. That's not to say that Alan, Roscoe, and Emilio weren't, because they too were just as warm, friendly, and neighborly as they are on TV, but Bob was...
Enjoy your alcohol poisoning. :P
Actually, I just had a thought: could this be some kind of glitch with scheduled uploads? Like perhaps the reason the uploads aren't showing up till days later is because that's when they were scheduled to be published, but the date is when they were otherwise...
YouTube's been doing that for a while now, I don't know what's going on - especially SS's channel: new uploads will suddenly appear out of nowhere in your subscription feed, but they will have apparently been uploaded several days earlier. It's really weird.
Now that videos can use custom thumbnails, it's not at all strange to see videos with the exact same thumbnail - especially if they're those sneaky uploads of full movies that you click on and say, "Sorry, YouTube will not allow us to upload the full video, please click the unsafe and...
Well, if we can get a little specific, I'd say that applies more to PWMS than SS itself, and in that case, there were plenty that were overplayed: "It's Zydaco!" "Shake Your Rattle and Roll," and "Movin' On" were about to drive me bonkers.
As for SS . . . to a lesser extent, "Do De Rubber Duck"...
My favorite thing about the "Wet Paint" MV was the close-ups of How Now Brown's feet dancing around in the puddles of paint - it looked like the kind of messy fun you weren't allowed to get into as a little kid, lol.
