I know the early 90s had a lesser-known two-parter about a hurricane blowing through Sesame Street: the first part has surfaced - where the hurricane actually blows through, so I suppose now it would be nice if the second part with the Little Old Woman Who Lived In a Shoe's shoe has landed on...
Well, it happened again. Woke up this morning, turned on my computer, practically a factory resetting, had to open System Restore and revert back to the same restore point for the third time.
So apparently, when you turn off Windows Updates, it doesn't apply to updates made to Windows itself...
Again, this is part of the problem: we can nominate who we think is the best possible people for the job, but they never seem to be who Phil and/or Ed think are the best possible people for the job. Nothing ever gets resolved, it dies down, then after a while, we're right back to bringing up...
It's been brought up I don't know how many hundreds of times: we need more mods here to lighten Phil and Ed's loads. MC is a relative good-sized community with several active members every day, it's by no means a small forum, where just two staffers would be sufficient. The sheer size and...
Well, this is a load of crock:
https://www.providr.com/health-benefits-of-walking/?utm_source=hanafinlady&utm_medium=facebook&utm_campaign=providr
I walk everyday, most days up to an hour, and have been doing so for several years.
Hasn't helped me lose weight at all. In fact, I've been my...
And with NBC/Universal owning DreamWorks now, I don't suppose it could be on Nickelodeon or something like their other shows, since Nick is a Viacom property.
One other thing I'm curious about based on CA's counter-attack: they say they currently have four people in control of and running the company (including both Michaud and Rob), and they'll soon have a fifth person in such a position . . . are they really that big a company that they need that...
Ah, Birdon . . . I remember that guy. Yeah, that was really . . . peculiar, I must admit . . . didn't really get what was going on there, but . . . whatever.
One other thing I will point out is that it's amusingly ironic (and/or ironically amusing) that much of how I approach production work today is because of Doug, because when I first started out on YouTube, it was very much like how James Rolfe worked, but that was purely coincidental: I didn't...
Like I said, yes, much of how I approach my own production work comes from "tips" I've learned from watching how Doug would make NC episodes . . . again, I'm presently using Adobe Premiere and a Sony AVCHD handycam because it's what he used - both tools have vastly improved my YouTube work...
I do notice in CA's responding statement that they're complaining that it was a combination of the demise of blip.tv and the relaunch of their official YouTube channel that caused the drop in traffic on the proper CA website.
I'll be honest, I always waited for NC episodes to be reuploaded by...
As much as I love Oreo O's, I must admit there's a little bit of annoyance with how those tiny little white sprinkles on the cereal pieces kind of stay behind in your mouth after you're finished eating . . . almost kind of like what popcorn or peanuts do when you're eating them.
But that's not volunteer work, though. I mean it would be nice if money was involved in volunteer work, but there isn't, and if there was, that'd kind of defeat the purpose of volunteer work in the first place.
That was kind of my thinking as I was reading this thing . . . in fact, the way I was...
You mean like Judy Blume's Fudge books being told by Fudge's older brother Peter? Ehh . . . I don't really have such a preference, but I suppose if written and executed well, I can invest in the story if told from such a perspective.
Channel Awesome has finally released a statement regarding the Change the Channel movement . . . or, more accurately, a counter-attack against disgruntled former employees:

I'm no legal expert, but if you're doing something purely on a volunteer basis ...
Maybe Danny used Flash, but took a hand-drawn, frame-by-frame approach to animate it like Dilworth did with his GOOSE IN HIGH HEELS film that's apparently doing really well at festivals.
