I almost agree. It's just that we've come to a point where there's little to defend about oil companies, with the connection to the Middle East conflicts and the Gulf spill and all. It just has a very bad reputation and deservedly so.

For some people it's not even really about that I think. It's simply just that they've been taught that this is what the Bible says and they don't question it. The Bible doesn't even really explain why homosexuality is wrong. But the attitude is if the Bible says it, end of story.

Neither am I. But that's not a contradiction. Obviously when judgment is mentioned they're talking about moral issues. ;)

Well granted it's not so much a joke but Fozzie messing up a joke. Since he started out the joke talking about a bear, his punchline was supposed to be bear related. Instead he gets it wrong and the pun is cow related instead, lol.

I don't remember the exact line but Fozzie starts the joke with a bear but then ends up saying "Mos...cow." Get it? :o

Thanks, I was just trying to demonstrate that it's not unusual for the Muppets to make comments on putting profits ahead of morality. ;) Makes you wonder how much longer they will hold out before they admit their way isn't working, heh.
