I kind of thought I heard Matt's voice coming from one of those pickles; not sure about the last one though.
This is why Crumby Pictures was perhaps the superior of all of them: a parody segment with great humor (sometimes going over kids heads), with a variety of different educational topics...
After today, we're looking at a week of 60s (and possibly 70s) ahead of us . . . spring has never arrived this early before! And I thought last year it being spring-like before Valentine's Day was the earliest spring had ever arrived, but this takes the cake!
And they forecasted that February...
I agree, Oscar brought some much-needed conflict to the story, and I love how he got so dead-into playing the ogre bent on stopping the train from continuing on its trip to Hooper's Store (even though he looked more like a viking than an ogre with that horned helmet and long shaggy wig).

I mean, it's Ohio for Pete's sake . . . aren't they used to this kind of stuff? And aren't they usually...
And now I've been banned from that group. All I can say is that other guy better have been banned too, because his behavioral problems have been ongoing, and my calling him out for his crap only came to blows last night.
I think that's it, it's a subtle way of teaching kids respect for their elders. In the beginning, characters like Gordon, Susan, Bob, and especially Maria and David were a lot younger (and they were also progressive characters) and were regarded more like everyday friends for the kids - both on...
