Sesame Street Season 50 News and Rumors

Zoe's kind of being a little more to do now that Jen is performing her, but what I (and many others) really miss is the old dynamic of her and Elmo paired together, because Elmo suddenly becomes a far more interesting character since he ends up having to play straight to Zoe's foil - especially...

    When you need to rant...

Because it's so instantly recognizable? I don't know, but that's one of the reasons why I wanted to avoid picking that song for the tribute video I'm working on with other YouTube puppeteers; we ended up deciding on "Sing" instead.

Sesame Street Season 50 News and Rumors

They did that once before twenty years ago - they made him somewhat more distinguishable from other generic Muppet bears.

The "What Are You Eating Right Now?" Thread

Yours may be in sandwich form, but I'm actually enjoying a homemade chicken parmesean meal this evening.

The "What Are You Eating Right Now?" Thread

I tried Papa John's new Fiery Buffalo Chicken pizza tonight, and while it wasn't so overwhelmingly spicy, as buffalo anything has a tendancy to be . . . I still washed it down with approximately three and a half glasses of milk, lol.

Haley Joel Osment grew up to be Richard Karn?

What made you roll your eyes today thread?

Exactly! When young kids are growing up, one of the things they need more than anything is to be instilled with a sense of unconditional love - this is the exact opposite; we're conditioning them. At this rate, we're virtually raising a generation of bitter and jaded cynics.

What made you roll your eyes today thread?

#MeToo is back to pushing their agenda of teaching kids that hugging is a form of sexual harassment and they need not let anybody - not even their parents - hug them.

    Bible Study

I've had encounters with ghosts/spirits before. I'm getting ready to discuss these encounters on my friend's YouTube channel in the foreseeable future.

    Least likeable Sesame character?

It's interesting how Benny and Stinky were originally intended to be somewhat generic characters, but Grouch-related characters at that . . . like Benny was intended to be a Grouch Rabbit, and Stinky was intended to be a Grouch Plant . . . I guess that explains their negative dispositions, and...

    Little things we've noticed

I just recently realized that KSY is the only non-SS Muppet movie Joey Mazzarino performed in . . . I would have thought he would have performed in MFS, considering he co-wrote that one as well . . . unless he did, like a minor background character, and went uncredited.

    Least likeable Sesame character?

As far as Grover goes, well, this IDGet comic strip actually offers up an interesting backstory as to why he always screws over Mr. Johnson: http://idget.thecomicseries.com/comics/209/ But I mean, Frank said it himself: Grover just wants to be helpful to whoever he can, words like "can't" and...

The New What Made You Frown Today Thread

Cat from CATDOG. One of my favorite voices of his was this cowboy voice he used for a couple of different characters, one of which was the cowboy bullet in Eddie Valiant's arsenal in ROGER RABBIT, and then he also used that voice for a wild west sheriff in an old Cartoon Network WHAT A CARTOON...

You Ever Notice...and What's the Deal...

I just now realized despite M&M's penchant for wearing out the same holiday commercials year after year, not once did they show that Easter one where Yellow and Red are inside the bunny suit this year. YELLOW: Heehee, isn't Easter fun, Red? RED: (Scoffs) Not from my perspective.

    Unidentified Elmo doll

I think that picture is mine; I don't remember adding it to Muppet Wiki, but I must have at some point in the past.

Sesame Street Season 49 Episode 4925 - Welcome to Sesame Hospital

Continuity error: the pumpkin the farmer gave Cookie and Gonger was thin and oblong-shaped, but the pumpkin they used for the pumpkin soup are large and round. And coconut milk? Eww. I guess it's subtle veganism preaching. :P But as for the story itself - not much substance to it again, but I...

    Unidentified Elmo doll

It looks really similar to the Elmo doll I have. Unfortunately, the print on the tag has been completely washed away, so I can't make a solid identification, but I am 98% certain that it's Knickerbocker.
