Would the Muppets be better off owned by Warner Bros.?

Solely on the notion that Disney had managed to keep characters like Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, et al. alive for years after Walt's passing; Jim figured if anything were to happen to him, Disney would do the same for the Muppets. But, naturally, things would be different if he didn't...

    Little things we've noticed

The buildings in the background during the apartment portion of this song are the same cardboard cut-outs they used to use for the skyline up on the roof of 123.

    What made you angry today?

Some company called TuneSat; they're apparently a policing company that detects the use of music and songs in YouTube videos so they can claim copyright on said use of music and then (supposedly) forward the proceeds from monetization to the actual copyright holder of the music. This isn't the...

    What made you angry today?

Doesn't make sense. I've been using this track for background music for over ten years, not to mention it's Steve's (un)official theme music, why suddenly claim copyright on it? And, again, it's free! I've actually heard this track on local commercials before as well.

I'm not gonna lie . . . I almost feel like I could throw up right about now. Never again. Never again.

What was your weirdest puppeteering experience?

Oh gee! I had a very, very similar experience once, though not when I was puppeteering. This was during a talent show at the country fair that PBS was televising one summer years ago, and I was one of the stage managers: just before the show began, I sat down in a metal folding chair that was...

    Questions about anything

You must be eating them too overly ripe. Bananas are tough to get just right: if they're still too under ripe, they'll be hard and have a tart/bitter taste to them; if they're overly ripe, they'll be soft and squishy with too sugary sweet a taste.

    What made you angry today?

Well again, I can't. Because if my appeal is rejected, not only will they remove the video, but they'll issue a copyright strike on my channel.

    What made you angry today?

Some policing company filed a copyright claim on free music I used in a video, so I filed a dispute pointing out that they don't own the rights to the music, and that the music was composed specifically for free use. My dispute was rejected, and now if I try to file an appeal they'll have my...

The “What did you do today?” thread

After some insistance, I tried a burger today with seven beef patties and seven slices of cheese that was saturated in grease. That was just a couple of hours ago, but I feel funky already; if I don't die of a heart attack first, I'll probably move into the bathroom tonight. Meanwhile, I'm...

What was your weirdest puppeteering experience?

I've shared this story many times before, it's not necessarily "weird" so much as it was unique and rewarding. Any puppeteer will tell you that when kids are able to connect with the puppet you're performing and you, as the puppeteer, become virtually invisible to the kids, you know you're doing...

The... -wait fer it-... "What made you laugh today?" Thread

Nope. A scruffy, bearded guy whose channel is apparently one of travelling and outdoor activities. I see he's been on YouTube only a few months longer than I have, but his channel only has over 1,000 subscribers, and most of his more recent videos have about the same number of views as my recent...
