The New Am I The Only One Thread

Am I the only one who likes cigar boxes? Obviously, I don't smoke, but I must admit, I think cigar boxes make for great recyclable material, and not just to make banjos out of, or to keep paper clips in: the artwork that goes into the box designs are very nice to look at for sure, and again...

    Classic Sesame Clips on YouTube

I think some YouTube Poops I did years ago. YouTube's copyright system is automated so if it detects copyrighted content, regardless of the privacy settings, you can still receive claims - there's been times where Fox or Disney would have claims on YTPs I've done the very second they finished...

Actually, yeah, they still can; I've lost some private and unlisted videos that way before.

Even if you change the setting to private, they can still be detected by YouTube's copyright system for matched audio/visual content.

    50th Anniversary DVD announced

I mean, this is what minor muppetz does, he's a very analytical person, no need to criticize him for it.

    What made you angry today?

If you want a movie to be completely free of any language, it would be G-rated instead of PG . . . and even then, some G-rated movies have an occasional word here and there.

What is your favorite Sid and Marty Krofft shows?

Don't really care too much for the movie myself. To me, it feels more or less like an episode of the show that was padded out to include a bunch of filler to make it longer.

Would the Muppets be better off owned by Warner Bros.?

You know what's the truth? If it were the other way around, and it was Disney who said Steve Whitmire wasn't at fault, then Duke would be insisting just the opposite, and defending Steve simply because Disney says he's okay.

Weekly Box Office and Film Discussion Thread

As I pointed out in another thread, my biggest issue is Taylor Swift is starring in it, which would probably result in a budding movie career for her, which will mean it won't be enough that she's all over the radio, she'll be all over Hollywood too, which means we'll never be able to get away...

    Classic Sesame Clips on YouTube

This is the "regular episode" version, as opposed to the original pledge drive version, which . . . if it wasn't for the fact that the tape I have of it is almost unwatchable now, and the risk of VCR eating it while trying to copy it to a DVD, I would consider copying again for the sake of...

Steve Whitmire has left the Muppets, Matt Vogel to continue as Kermit

I still find the whole "head shape" complaint in regards to both he and Steve to be a tad ridiculous. Yes, the way Jim shaped Kermit's head with his hand played a factor, but we also have to keep in mind something: no two puppets of the same character are ever going to be 100% exactly the same -...

Steve Whitmire has left the Muppets, Matt Vogel to continue as Kermit

It's amusing to now see the same complaint about Steve being hurled at Matt that he "doesn't get Kermit's head shape right."
