    Favorite Muppet Movie?

I think that explains the Star Wars prequels as well, hehe.

    Favorite Muppet Movie?

That's part of why MTM is my favorite too. It always feels like an oddly successful hybrid of kid and adult movie. Plus the soundtrack is gorgeous, really carries the emotions of the characters.

Pre-Order Sesame Street Old School Volume 3 (1979-1984) coming to DVD 11/6

I mean swearing I can understand. In contrast, the excuses for the Sesame DVDs just don't hold water. It just comes off as paranoid and odd. It would be nice if they have finally given up on it, lol.

Thinking of moving to California to follow my dreams, any advice

Btw just wanted to share this too, here's a recent advertisement Dan Gilvezan did for his book, voicing his old Transformers character Bumblebee. It's amazing, his voice hasn't changed at all even after so many years! (Note: The animation was done by this very talented fan and his company who...

In other words they were jealous that they weren't as automatically knowledgeable on a topic, lol.

Thinking of moving to California to follow my dreams, any advice

What's amazing is that song is much older than you might think, all the way back to the 1920's!

Pre-Order Sesame Street Old School Volume 3 (1979-1984) coming to DVD 11/6

If it does, I will treat it with the same consideration I gave it the first two times--none, lol.

What sketches scared you as a kid?

Yeah I mean every single day I knew Sesame Street was going to scare me at some point and I was always on guard for it, but at the same time I never wanted to stop watching it, lol. I think that kind of thing happens a lot with more (for lack of a better word) "crude" forms of animation or...

Thinking of moving to California to follow my dreams, any advice

I posted this awhile back, veteran voice actor Dan Gilvezan shared this advice in his book My Life as a G1 Transformer: "Often when people find out what I do for a living, they will say something like, 'my friends tell me I have a good voice, maybe I should get into that whole voiceover...

"Peanuts" movie in development for November 2015 release

They may have good intentions, that doesn't mean they have good taste or judgment when it comes to creativity.

"Peanuts" movie in development for November 2015 release

But the thing is, I think the studios count on that attitude and hence don't make the effort they should. They know the audience will always come "just in case" a movie might be good. I don't like being manipulated that way. I agree that is the only good thing to come out of these remakes, lol.

Your Thoughts: "The Muppets" Theatrical Film

I'll be honest, if the movie had ended that way my blog review wouldn't have been nearly so complimentary. :shifty: Heh

What movies/books etc do you wanne pass on to the next generation.

I'll admit the thought has crossed my mind. I just don't think the prequels deserve the exposure. To be blunt, I want my kids to know what good movies look like...and what they don't look like, lol.

What movies/books etc do you wanne pass on to the next generation.

I agree; I'd rather not encourage any childhood nostalgia for the prequels, lol. Not enough parents think about these things. ;)

"Peanuts" movie in development for November 2015 release

I'm getting tired of the emperor's new clothes attitude when it comes to CGI cartoons. It's still really not that good yet but everyone's pretending it is because it's the most modern.

Million Puppet March for PBS November 3 in Washington

I think it's a nice idea. I've talked to far too many people online (not here) whining about how PBS is "wasting their tax dollars." What's tragic is these people most likely grew up on Sesame Street or their children did. I hate when people benefit from something and then just toss it aside.
