Someone posted a previous message saying that they got a DVD of Statler and Waldrof From the Balcony from one of the Muppet performers and they thought it might've been from Steve Whitmire (or something like that)
Good point, good point :)
I was thinking more along the lines of the way the Muppets currently are, and how Floyd is hardly used anymore. That's one of the things I enjoy about watching Season one of the Muppet Show... characters like Floyd and Zoot are bigger players.
I'm not a big fan of him either (don't really hate him, don't really love him; don't really know him) but the reason I want that to see that scene is because of the Electric Mayhem appearance :D :sing:
I AM glad that Muppet Christmas Carol was the one they re-released first. Since MCC was the only Muppet movie I ever owned before I got the others on DVD it obviously holds more nostalgic value for me and I was so upset when there was only one MCC song on the 25th Anniversary CD.
Yeah I noticed that too! I'm always thinking "well which performer's character is their main one?"
So for me it's:
Jim Henson: Kermit
Frank Oz: either Fozzie or Piggy (I'd prefer it to be Fozzie though...)
Richard Hunt: Scooter
Dave Goelz: Gonzo
Steve Whitmire: Rizzo (and obviously...
Yeah I saw the commercial for this yesterday! I happened to flip to Disney Channel right at the right moment. Although they were like "Starring Queen Latifah and Ashanti" and I'm thinking "Uhh don't you mean starring THE MUPPETS?!" (after all, they ARE the main reason I watch it ;) )
I really want to be a voice actor. I don't wanna end up doing some job that I'll be unhappy in and I would absolutely LOVE doing voice acting. Heck, I pretty much do it everyday 'cause I always pretend to be different characters. It's lots of fun.
And as sort of an "out there" dream job, I'd...
Yeah I got the Muppet calendar too! It's cool even though I have seen some of those images before:
-The cover is on the 25th Anniversary CD and the Muppets Take Manhattan DVD cover and like a billion other places
-The first page (with Sept., Oct., Nov., and Dec. 2005 on it too) is on this...
Well the only figures from the regular line I'm missing are:
Floyd
Fozzie (regular)
Electric Mayhem playset
and Zoot
I'm also missing the repaints except for the ones of Lips and Johnny.
These are the exclusives that I DO have and am missing the rest:
-OMGCNFO.com Animal
-Rainbow...
Hey all! I got the Muppet Christmas Carol soundtrack for Christmas, and it's totally awesome (I really wanted it because the only one on the 25th Anniversary CD was "One More Sleep 'Til Christmas").
But what about Muppet Treasure Island, The Muppet Movie, and The Great Muppet Caper? I really...
The new holiday episode was alright but, but I thought it would be better. That Larry kept saying he liked explosions and stuff... it should've been Crazy Harry! (Then again, Larry and Harry sound like similar names... possible reference?)
This episode was really good! Sweetums sounded great I thought. And Ivan was pretty cool too. The other guy wasn't that great but it was a funny segment with the penguins. I'm used to the new Statler voice but the new Waldorf is still taking me a while to get used to.
I will definitely be buying Muppet Christmas Carol and Muppet Treasure Island for widescreen. The other two I don't know about. While I do wanna see Pepe's Profiles, we're buying TMM and GMC for my grandpa so I can just watch his.
Definitely Muppet Family Christmas... even though I've only seen the edited DVD. It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie was good and all, but it lacked the heart that Muppet Family Christmas had.
