Another Movie remake of the Grinch... really?

There are moments where he's good in it, but those moments quickly get swallowed up by stupid, insulting jokes. I can't watch that movie for more than two seconds, lol. I can understand liking it, but it felt extremely cliche to me. Oh he's just a villain because no one liked him. Yawn, it's...

    Should Sesame Street continue?

Elmo's more than just the everyman character. They wouldn't push him so much if they didn't think he'd get a reaction from the audience.

R.I.P Patricia Andrews, Leader of the Andrews Sisters

Yup, when I first saw the real Andrews Sisters, my first thought was TMGTTM and the "Apple Blossom Time" song. :)

    What made you think today?

Though I do like this one line: "He can't give all the prizes to one kid. It's un-American!"

Wow, children laughing at a character other than Elmo. Who knew?! :super:

    Should Sesame Street continue?

Thing is there's a difference between change and a lowering of quality. I do question how useful it is educationally at this point. Just because kids like a popular character doesn't mean they're learning anything.

    Dealing with depression and anxiety

Thanks Charlie, hope your new therapist works out. Yeah the hardest part really is to take the first step. My sympathies, irregular sleep cycles can definitely mess things up.

    Dealing with depression and anxiety

Not a great day today. Nothing went wrong exactly but depression just tends to hang over me sometimes. I'm really going to have to finally make the effort to see a counselor. I'm just tired of feeling this way, especially when I really have no reason to.
