Arthur - Where is the Show Going?

I wouldn't dismiss that as a possibility, they've really been pandering to the base in recent years (no lie, there was that one episode of Bud taking off his hat, because literally, one fan was absolutely obsessed with seeing him take off his hat just like certain people on this forum are...

Silly things you said, did, or thought as a kid

When ED, EDD N EDDY was at the height of its popularity when I was in kid, I made my own Plank and carried it around with me like Jonny . . . granted, my Plank was made from cardboard, and not an actual plank of wood, but still, other kids thought it was cool and wanted me to make Planks for...

Arthur - Where is the Show Going?

Welp, it's official: Ladonna is leaving. Honestly, Ladonna never really bothered me at all . . . aside from her and her family's inaccurate southern accents (they still pronounced certain words more like northerns and Canadians do), I just never could hate her, because she wasn't a bad...

    Little things we've noticed

I think that was something I pointed out a while back, wasn't it? How Alan seems a tad hammier in recent years than he used to? As for Chris, well . . . I always felt like his hamminess came more from just his enthusiasm of being on the show, which we all know he was ecstatic about becoming a...

    Little things we've noticed

Given that this was the era of SS that I grew up with, that actually never even really occured to me - even when watching Old School SS from the 70s and 80s, the only thing that really strikes me is that it seems like the human characters had more prominence on the street, but I suppose that...

    The "You know what?" thread

I was reading this article today: https://getpocket.com/explore/item/science-says-the-most-successful-kids-have-parents-who-do-these-9-things I can say that my parents did, indeed, do a lot of this things mentioned in this article, however, there is one thing in particular that they did the...

HBO Max to debut Sesame Street Seasons 51-55 and stream episodes from 50-year library

I mean, I have concerns about this like people did when SS first moved to HBO. Granted, if the show remains on PBS on this 9-month delay system as it has been all this time, then that's a good thing, but it feels like they keep moving more and more away from their original mission of being...

HBO Max to debut Sesame Street Seasons 51-55 and stream episodes from 50-year library

I think the term "full library" used in the headline is what threw him off.

YUCK! What grossed you out today?

I found a comic strip online by Chris Savino about an anthro kitten who has the hots for his mother. . . . I just . . . feel like I need to take a shower now. On another note, it doesn't really help that he's got all of these sexual harassment allegations against him.

None Like it Hot: The "I Hate the Heat" Club

In the 200-some-odd year they evidently have been recording daily weather information for my town, today we set a record high for this date: 97 degrees. Think about it: 97 degrees in the middle of fall! What next? Are we going to have a deja vu of the infamous Blowtorch Christmas of 2015, where...

Unearthing previously "lost" Sesame Street episodes

Interesting. So, now we know where that photo that's been floating around the internet with Big Bird and Snuffy surrounded by fake palm trees while Snuffy wears oversized trunks came from. Also didn't realize "Snowflakes" was a street scene, I always assumed it to be an insert. But . . . in...

What made you roll your eyes today thread?

Did he do that on purpose like a prank or something, or was it an accident? Because sometimes when my mom uses my computer, she'll somehow change the zoom setting, and neither of us can figure out how she does it, because it's not as if she actually does it the manual way.

The New Am I The Only One Thread

Am I the only one who thinks there's actually some similarity to Kath Soucie's and Grey Griffin's vocal range? Particularly their higher, more child-like voices, they both can seem to that sort of Lil from RUGRATS kind of voice in an almost identical manner.
