Sesame Street Season 50 Episode 5001 - Big Bird Across America

I somehow kind of get the feeling that Big Bird's road trip may be treated in a manner similar to Slimey to the Moon in Season 29.

Sesame Street Season 50 Episode 5001 - Big Bird Across America

So Little Bird and Big Bird are cousins now? That's interesting. What's also interesting is that Little Bird's teddy bear is named Walter, because that's actually another M*A*S*H reference: Big Bird's teddy bear is named after the character known as Radar O'Reilly, but Radar's real name was...

None Like it Hot: The "I Hate the Heat" Club

Well, apparently the winter outlook has been changed again: now they're calling for a below average December and January, but an above average February, which . . . I mean, honestly, February has been more and more above average for the past three years, this really doesn't surprise me anymore.

    Questions about anything

I kept waiting to see if John R. Dilworth was going to do anything special on social media, then come to find out on his YouTube channel that he apparently published a limited edition book about the production of the series, full of model sheets, storyboards, behind-the-scenes photos, among...

    What made you think today?

I mean, this happens to a lot of popular channels on YouTube.

Weekly Box Office and Film Discussion Thread

Why, why, why, why, why, why, why do we need another SpongeBob movie? And why is this THE SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS MOVIE 2? Isn't this, like, the third or fourth SpongeBob movie?

    What made you think today?

I'm pretty sure Aldi and Trader Joe's are just Save-A-Lot without homeless people and ghetto rats.

You Ever Notice...and What's the Deal...

Why are blazers called "sportjackets" or "sportcoats"? I mean, what kind of sports are people playing where you would wear a suit instead of a jersey? I can't imagine baseball players are sliding into home plate in formalwear.

Now what's going on with YouTube?

Probably, but that's another thing too: if you upload a variety of different kind of content on your channel, you can change the settings to tag your individual videos, rather than tag your entire channel.

Now what's going on with YouTube?

This is an entirely different function. I don't know exactly how it's working, but so far, it's something you have to change when you're editing your video's details (title, description, visibility, etc.). They didn't say videos for kids will no longer have ads, they said you can't customize...

Now what's going on with YouTube?

So now we have this new requirement by law that means we have to tag our videos and content with either "Made for kids" or "Not made for kids" even though it's entirely separate from placing age restrictions on videos. I mean, I can kind of understand why this is a new requirement, but I can...

    Questions about anything

I hate it, because everybody always does like 20-30 miles over the speed limit, so everybody's whizzing around you as if you're slowing down traffic or something.

Now what's going on with YouTube?

Actually, they've adjusted the size of the thumbnails . . . they're not as huge as they were when I first brought this up, but they're still relatively larger than they traditionally have been all these years. I would say it's a reasonable middle ground.

    The breakfast cereal thread

Walmart has so many cereals that are exclusive to them now, that's it's actually pretty insane: mermaid cereal, unicorn cereal, Baby Shark cereal (yes, they actually have a Baby Shark cereal) . . . but now they also have cream-filled cereals from Hershey's that I decided to give a try. And it's...

    Questions about anything

Since when was GREEN EGGS AND HAM turned into a series? And how could a single plot that was covered in such a short book be adapted into an episodic series? What, does Sam I Am just go to some completely different stranger in each and every episode and try to force-feed green eggs and ham onto...
