I thought that it was cut because it had the CBS logo in the background :concern:
Anyway, I have no problem with "current" Kermit... but maybe that's because I was born in 1988, and grew up during that awkward period between "Jim-era" stuff and "post-Jim-era" stuff...
I'm not positive, but I think it's just that Steve did the voice, while Matt did the performing.
That's really awesome that they all sang "Most Wonderful Time of the Year" which happens to be one of my favorite Christmas songs, and definitely my favorite song on the Red and Green Christmas...
I like that the Muppets do stuff with the current Disney stars. I'm one of the few, but I do enjoy watching the shows on current Disney Channel, so seeing stuff like this is what it was like for older Muppet fans seeing them do stuff with stars from when they were younger.
I've always had a feeling that Disney would do good things with the Muppets when they bought 'em.
Of course, when they released The Muppet Show on DVD that was good enough for me to assume that they weren't "ruining" the Muppets. ;)
I gotta say, this is one of the greatest things I've EVER seen! (and I'm not even a huge fan of the song lol).
But yeah, everyone was great in it. I loved Sam's part, and Pepe's part.
It was great seeing Johnny and Sal again.
-Gonzo
-Rizzo
-Sam the Eagle
-Pepe
-Kermit
-Rowlf
-Scooter
-Johnny & Sal
-Statler and Waldorf
-Bobo
-the whole Electric Mayhem
-Swedish Chef
I like 'em all really, except Miss Piggy lol
Yeah, $400 is my limit too. I mean, Rizzo's one of my favorites (growing up with Muppet Christmas Carol and all :concern::shifty:) so if he's $400 or under, I'm definitely gonna get him. Otherwise, I'll change that to "probably-maybe" gonna get him hehe.
"Hey guys, there was this really funny part in Letters to Santa where Beaker wished for a super-model, but all she said was 'Meep meep' just like him!"
YOU'RE EXPEEEELLLLEEEEDDD!
:insatiable:
That's funny, I happen to be a huge fan of the original Transformers (despite not being born when it was on the air :p ) and I still loved Michael Bay's movies....
Anyway, I'm very excited about all the new Muppet stuff coming out... veeerrrryyy excited!
Well, I'm definitely gonna be getting Rizzo and Pepe, and probably Fozzie unless he's waayy too expensive.
I'll probably pass on Piggy, just because I don't really like her that much, and I'll probably pass on Reporter Kermit, just because I already have the Master Replicas version and I also...
