They have all 3 versions of Uncle Deadly here http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/menu.aspx?menu=167&category=1325 if I didn't already have them (and Sweetums) I'd totally jump on that deal. Although I'm tempted to buy them anyway just so I have extras just in case lol.
That's what it's all about! This is one of the best ways to get the Muppets in kids' minds, IMO.
Heck, it works for me. I actually know these stars and appreciate their work, unlike a LOT of the old Muppet Show guest stars, who's work I'm generally unfamilar with (being born in 1988 and all :p )
I know how ya feel, so that's why I mainly concentrated on getting "just the main line", you know, one figure from each series plus the playsets, I stayed away from re-paints for the most part (I spent almost $100 on Zoot in his trademark yellow shirt, I don't see the need to spend more on him...
I definitely want to own these on DVDs.
This is like The Muppet Show for me.... see, I was born in 1988, so I didn't grow up with the Muppet Show and as such I'm not familiar with a lot of the old guest stars. The thing I loved about Studio DC was that it was all stars I'm familiar with...
I'm starting to not really care either way anymore. On the one hand, it would be nice to have a really cool Rizzo replica, but on the other hand if they end up not producing it, it's less money that I have to spend! lol
So totally buying these when they come out on DVD. I recorded both, but having official DVDs without commercials or logos or anything is much preferred. :)
I think you're right. I think they messed up when they were recording, to me it sounds like Rowlf and Kermit are holding the note ("Loooooonnggg") and then Rowlf starts scatting, but Rowlf is also still holding the other note lol.
Yep, and I thought it was very well-done too (and this is coming from someone who likes Star Wars even more than the Muppets  lol). In fact, when Very Merry Muppet Christmas first aired I thought it WAS Frank (or at least I assumed it was, it was before my ears were tuned to find the subtle...
I'd definitely buy the Studio DC specials on DVD. It'd be awesome if they were in anamorphic widescreen (as long as it's the OAR) ala Letters to Santa.
Now, I love the Muppet show and the old Muppet movies, but I'm not familiar with a lot of the guest stars that appear in them (growing up in...
I would SO re-buy Kermit if he's dressed up as Luke.
Just sayin' ;)
(and buy re-buy, I mean that in the sense that I already have the Master Replicas version lol)
Change in the Muppet lineup eh? I can only (and when I say "only" I'm sure I mean "only" because I'm probably the only one) hope that it means Pepe will be made sooner rather than later hehe.
