Just now saw this pop up on YouTube:
Okay, I get that YouTube is trying to look out for their employees as well . . . but they're basically using the coronavirus as an excuse to just start deleting random videos without justification?
Doesn't help that now people are instilling even more fear into the public that as a result of the virus, crime rates will sky-rocket, and people will be breaking into other people's homes and pilfering whatever they can get their hands on because they'll be so desperate for food and supplies...
I missed this during the press conference, but I mean . . . gee. . . .
REPORTER: Mr. President, how would you rate how you've handled the outbreak on a scale from 1 to 10?
TRUMP: A 10, I would say that I've done a really good job.
That was pretty pointless to ask.
Here are the highlights from the press conference Trump gave today on the coronavirus, and what he and his Administration are urging of all Americans:
Don't go to restaurants, movie theaters, bars, food courts, and any similar establishments
Don't travel
Avoid public gatherings with more than...
My folks and I have been using Comcast since the tail-end of the 90s (for about three years, we had previously been using the satellite service that was formerly known as PrimeStar), so I really don't know about whatever other options are available out there: I do know that satellite services...
Well, Comcast/xfinity is, surprisingly, doing something very decent amid all of this coronavirus scare: they're not going to be cutting off people's internet services for the next two months (and even better, if you're a new customer/subscriber, they're not going to have you pay for your...
Some trees around here are blooming red, while some bushes are blooming yellow, and it's really got me missing fall, since Climate Change and the extra long summer we had last year, we hardly had any pretty fall colors - our peak season was a whole month late, and by then (mid-November), things...
Multiple sources are reporting that a Trump's White House attempted to buy out an entire German biopharmaceutical firm that's been working on developing a vaccine for the coronavirus, so that R&D could be moved to the U.S., and the eventual vaccine could be U.S.-exclusive. Whether or not this is...
And yet, his supporters are talking about what a great job he's done "so far," and how even some of the country's scientists and medical are silently admitting that everything he's done has been saving the lives of Americans. :shifty:
The same guy who, up until two or three days ago, said...
I live here, and I know of absolutely no Piggly Wiggly in this entire state. Where was this?
We do, surprisingly have at least one White Castle that I know of - and, ironically, it's across the road from Krystal, in the town of Lebanon.
I have a respirator mask as well, but I only wear it for building puppets for protection against the toxic fumes from the contact cement and other adhesives.
Otherwise, I've actually been hording toilet paper for years before the coronavirus made it uncool: toilet paper is a precious commodity...
The ironic thing is my mom has been among the many different people in America who have been panicking all these weeks: she's literally been calling drug stores, grocery stores, medical supply stores, even hardware stores like Home Depot for masks, and everybody's been out (I've even told her...
As in if you actually get the virus? ****. So far, I've only heard about quarantines lasting anywhere from 14 to 30 days . . . eight weeks is two freakin' months!
If I may add a Biblical perspective to your closing remarks, we're never promised a tomorrow, in a sense, we pretty much should live each day like it's our last, because nobody - not even Jesus Himself - knows when the world will end, and it could happen when we least expect it.
