Flo Bear was honestly a weird character to begin with . . . she was basically Baby Bear as a drag queen.

What is your favorite Sid and Marty Krofft shows?

Sid shared something particularly interesting and insightful during this week's live stream: for a while, apparently people thought the Muppets were Krofft! I guess because at the time in the 70s, since they were the ones who had multiple puppet shows on multiple networks, people assumed the...

    Female Muppets

Some of it had to do with performer availability. In the case of characters like Lulu, Elizabeth, and Curly Bear, we lost them because of Stephanie's commitment to Avenue Q.

Sesame Street Season 50 Episode 5024 - Dog Day Engineers

This isn't anything new under the sun. Back in the mid-2000s, a chicken mistaking Rocco for an egg and trying to hatch it was becoming a once-a-season thing.

Video: Kermit Sings "Rainbow Connection" during social distancing

That it does, at first I thought this may have been an older video that was being reuploaded.

Video: Kermit Sings "Rainbow Connection" during social distancing

It's interesting, but somehow, Matt sounds better as Kemit when singing than he does when speaking, much like his "Bein' Green" duet with Elvis Costello during the SS 50th anniversary special. Then again, Matt, much like Jerry, is one of the better singing Muppet Performers we have.

Yeah, I tend to forget about Gina, she's perhaps the biggest exception.

    Little things we've noticed

In Episode 1740, when Bob gives Big Bird a demonstration of how water works coming from a reservior to our pipes, he at one point demonstrates by saying, "Telly gets very thirsty and takes a bath." What, does Telly drink his own bath water? Eww!

Unearthing previously "lost" Sesame Street episodes

Honestly, who from the late 80s and early 90s stuck around in the long run? Hiroshi? Petey? Mike? Lillian? Mr. Handford seems to be one of the only exceptions to a certain degree.

    The Old Cartoon Network Thread

A lot of shows like Rocko have been having previously-banned episodes resurface in recent years, whether on DVD or even in reruns . . . and not only that, but it's clear that networks like Nick and even Cartoon Network support the LGBT community now . . . so, with that said, it seems to me like...

    COVID-19 Coronavirus News and Updates

Again . . . it's Fox Fricken News, one of the most biased, one-sided media outlets there is in America. Of course they're going to make it seem like it's Republicans or red states getting attacked by the media, because it's what they do - just like that incident a few years ago when a biracial...

Like I said, it was about as high as I was willing to go, considering that yes, Blue was harder to find than the others, so I understand it's a little rarer . . .
