Did Ratburn idolize Pryce-Jones? I don't remember that much of it . . . I just knew that Ratburn felt like his teaching methods weren't as efficient or effective - something I also remember Pryce-Jones remarking to Ratburn.

It also doesn't help that English has so much slang and variations, which makes it one of the hardest languages to learn.
Speaking of which, this bit from I LOVE LUCY always springs into my mind when the subject of learning English comes up:
I'm really turned off by a lot of animation styles these days: everything is either always so "rubbery" looking (big round heads, huge bug eyes, disproportionately skinny bodies, noodle-like limbs), or really "angular" looking (the new DuckTales, for example).
