Well that would make things a little worse for a while, considering how long Sesame Street put up the Elmo name on the pestal and the hard work they put into various Elmo themed specials, movies and toyline.

And that what makes the whole ordeal both so shocking and sad... I mean I sometimes always thought of Elmo being overpowering in some cases as his popularity grew. I never knew it took something so dirty like this... that could take Elmo down. :(

Well, given his increase in the show, I was hoping Murray maybe the next Elmo, considering his performer is the only major SS writer left with Kevin Clash gone.

Man, the bad luck just keeps on coming to the street. :(

Dedicated...that was the word I was looking for in my previous post. Kevin Clash was truly dedicated to his work to the very end. :wisdom:

To the very end, Kevin Clash truly was a man of great character and honor enough for him to quit so that Sesame Street and its company wouldn't suffer too badly from this. Depended to the show to the very end. :super:

Ha, I'm glad it was SNL that got Big Bird to say its piece instead of the news media. I must say I'm glad to see Sesame Workshop staying above all this political stuff and staying true to the message it delievers each day to the families of the world. :wisdom:
