What was your weirdest puppeteering experience?

Weirdest puppetry experience for me was when I was doing a movie at a college and everyone was taking selfie’s with the character, plus asking me questions of how I was able to make it look so good.

Plus it was the only Muppet, Jim admitted was a failure.

Was Scooter used as a whatnot in the 90s

I just noticed this on Muppet wiki. Plus knowing what happened to Scooter throughout the 90’s due to Richard’s passing...yeah I had a question.

Was Scooter used as a whatnot in the 90s

So we know that Richard Hunt died in 92, along with most of his character is being retired for the time. Though I noticed some of the Whatnots use in the 90s look awfully similar to Scooter.

    The Official Top 10 Anything...

The thing I heard with Forgetful Jones is he was a such Richard character, that it was decided by the writers at the time to not re-cast him

Cookie Monster photo replica by Hasbro

I have a feeling if it was Super Grover, then you have a blend of fans including Muppets, superhero, and DC fans.

    The Official Top 10 Anything...

I heard from Kevin Clash that was the segment when Richard Hunt finally actually got a handle on Forgetful Jones and making him funny.

Sesame Street Season 49 Episode 4935 - Cookie Monster's Museum Mystery

To me it seemed that characters like Telly, Baby Bear, and by a lesser extent Zoe and Big Bird didn’t really have any standouts.

It's Official: Caroll Spinney retires from Sesame Street after nearly 50 years

Yes Sonia Manzano was at the retirement party. The retirement party was for a celebration of Caroll Spinney after 50 years of service. Nothing more nothing less. Besides he’s getting up in those years, he’s really in no condition to be Big Bird or Oscar.

Yeah they would never market a pipe. I remember talking with someone who was collected sesame merchandise at a convention. They told me that it’s illegal for characters marketed towards children to be able to smoke. So there goes the pipe idea

I think if it was Grover as the first one with the possibility of Super Grover accessories. That would’ve sold like hotcakes

Maybe they could do this as a semi yearly thing. Where this year they release one and stop and do one in 2020. And have it be a good fan favorite character like Grover or Ernie. I think we can consider characters like Big Bird and Snuffy out of the question

I’m tempted to spend the money on it, though if it was Grover or Count. I would’ve bought it in a heartbeat. https://www.toughpigs.com/haslab-cookie/
