The Food Thread (Non Instagram Edition)

Not gonna lie, being the big pasta lover that I am, I would actually give Mr. Loud's Lynn-guini and clams a try. . . . Except that pasta needs to be cooked longer than al dente, though.

The same size? Seriously? Because those things are about as big as their entire freakin' heads!! The largest jawbreaker I've ever tried was maybe the size of a tennis ball, I would say, and it took forever to finish, lol. Then again, Danny Antonucci said that's why he chose jawbreakers as their...

    Animated Hotties?

I'm not going to lie, when it comes to anthro characters, there are two species that I just can't find attraction in when it comes to designing good-looking characters: reptilian and avian. Matter of fact, I much prefer this humanized version of Goldie from ROCK-A-DOODLE over the real...

    What made you think today?

Hurricanes are huge storm systems - even if you're not a coastal state, remnants of the storm system itself can reach rather far inland that you can receive some of the impact, even if it's not as severe or extreme as coastal areas that endure the brunt of the storm.

    What made you think today?

We usually find ourselves in the direct path of hurricanes depending on what projected path they end up taking, however, after the costal areas end up taking the brunt of the storm, we usually end up getting soaking rains by the time the storm reaches us - maybe some thunder and lightning...

Boy, is this forum dead today or what?

Yeah, a lot of people, myself included, keep enduring this username and password request, otherwise, access denied. As far as the overall TP attitude is concerned, I will admit that when I was younger, I kind of found their manner of reviewing and such to be a little . . . cynical, I guess...

    RIP Ed Asner

Interestingly enough, he was scheduled to be in town later this fall for the Knoxville Fanboy Expo, and I was considering meeting him. Still a sad loss, though. I think my first exposure to him was when he voiced Cosgrove on FREAKAZOID! I remember an interview with Paul Rugg saying that when...

Pixar: Are the glory days over?

So because I haven't seen a new Pixar movie in a long time, I am genuinely curious to know if they continue to carry on the tradition of theirs that dates back to the original TOY STORY by having John Ratzenberger voice one of the supporting characters in each movie. Seems like after a while...

What is up with these DISTURBING commercials, lately?

Ugh! This commercial bothers me immensely!! That voice sounds like a freaking predator whispering into his victim's ear just before he does something unspeakable to them.

Never heard of such to be honest. When it comes to fries, I'll admit that I usually stick to a tride and true sauce like ketchup to dip them in, however, Which Wich has a buttermilk ranch dipping sauce that's actually surprisingly good for dipping crinkle fries into . . . unfortunately, Which...

    The Old Cartoon Network Thread

In hindsight, I've come to realize that Cow and Chicken's parents being only legs was actually the worst-kept secret of the entire series, because of just that: it really wasn't a secret. There were hints throughout the series that they were just legs, ranging from the fact that their shadows...

ED, EDD N EDDY made jawbreakers popular in the late 90s and early 2000s obviously since that was always their coveted candy of choice.

Hey Robin, can ya move your head so you're not blocking Raven from the rest of us? Thanks.

Jolly Rancher is horrid stuff, and I was so miffed when Apple Snapple went from tasting like actual apples to tasting like apple-flavored Jolly Rancher. Ick. Blow pops I like rather well, same with Tootsie pops.

As far as wyngs are concerned, I don't mind BBQ or even buffalo wyngs, but either way, they need a dipping sauce; ranch is my preference. I seem to recall Raymond once made a big deal about not having dipping sauce for his buffalo wyngs on EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND once. As for sour candy . . ...

This actually happened yesterday, I just forgot to post about it, but I ended up being 15 minutes late for an appointment due to being held up by a looong and slow moving train!

Arthur - Where is the Show Going?

They're kind of "remastered" the pre-HD episodes; the actual episode footage is pillarboxed, but they've completely replaced the end titles with new versions that are true HD.
