Yeah. As a performer, he more than likely does vocal warm-ups and such to keep his voice in good shape.
And to respond to someone else, they have no plans of recasting Murray, according to Matt Vogel.
I didn't notice much on Telly; I actually thought Marty's puppeteer skills were slipping back due to his age in 2011, but he's since proved me wrong. He seemed fine; most of his scenes in the garden were done by Tyler Bunch instead, with Marty either looping later or doing it live on set.
And I...
I'm sure this will be an unpopular opinion, but I think this would've worked better without Caroll's voice. It's much harder to emote as a character when you're just dubbing over lines, so it won't have the same impact as the actor. If Caroll was on set (which I don't think he was), it might...
I feel like this was two stories in one; the holiday thing and Slimey moving away. The latter part was definitely better. If they had picked one aspect to focus on, the story would've been a lot stronger.
Probably. They were appearing less and less each season still. Bob called the show a "hobby" as of a few years ago. It's nice that they were still around, but if they're relegated to a two-second cameo or whatever, I think that's a waste. Either use them fully or don't.
If anything seems sour...
Nothing. I'm not pleased with the move, but it happened and it's time to move on. Half you don't watch the show today anyway; you still have your memories and YouTube clips to honor their legacy.
"National Rubber Duckie Day" is this week and I guess they filmed a few celebrity versions of the song for the occasion. They had celebs film short bits for the "Love to Learn" months, so these seem to be in the same vein.
I honestly don't get how we've seen the Two-Headed Monster more than Ernie and Bert. I get that kids might not be able to sit through an E&B sketch because they'll lose attention and they're whole "Odd Couple" dynamic doesn't really work when they're in supporting roles, but c'mon. They're the...
Well, considering we've seen footage/pics of other celebrities singing the song, it can be inferred there's something else involving the song being done.
If they are planning to use him again, I don't understand this whole "scaling back of Muppets" thing then, especially when they're adding new characters this season apparently (Julia and Rudy).
I'm saying they ended up being similar because of the kindness theme. If another episode is about counting to 10 or whatever, the closing tag would be about that.
