Sesame Street "Lost and Found" at the Museum of the Moving Image with Rosemarie Truglio and Norman Stiles November 24, 2019

Most of the stuff shown was in montage form. One such montage was of song covers from seasons one and two, that one was included. That was their words, not mine. They directly called out MuppetStuff and ToughPigs on it (in jest, of course, but the point was serious).

Sesame Street "Lost and Found" at the Museum of the Moving Image with Rosemarie Truglio and Norman Stiles November 24, 2019

Craig and Stephanie were very clear about not recording / taking "copious notes" about what was being screened today. So, excited as you may be, I would kindly recommend keeping whatever video and photos were taken to a minimum.

Sesame Street Season 50 Episode 5002 - The Great Sesame Street Cake Off

Meh. You'd think Grover / Cookie & Gonger as your stars would be a can't-miss premise, but nothing really came together (oh, the irony!). Michael Che was a little too...boring as well. I had a suspicion that's how the Road Trip things were gonna work, but I was hoping they'd be long-form stuff...

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street YouTube marathon Friday November 15, 2019

It's still seasons 27-48 right now. And, assuming the web player is the same for materials only availible at certain locations, you should be able to skip around within the video.

Sesame Street Special "Sesame Street's 50th Anniversary Celebration"

Frankly, I would be fine if John Kennedy went with the delivery he used in the Halloween video (skip to 7:44): I agree; he's trying to do a direct W.C. Fields voice now and it doesn't work for me. I honestly didn't mind Matt's Sherlock or Ryan's Don. I mean, we're really not gonna see these...

Sesame Street Special "Sesame Street's 50th Anniversary Celebration"

HBO's ran 49/50 minutes ish, so this just threw in about 4 or so minutes more (plus those ad spots. I was watching the PBS Kids live stream, so I don't know what my normal PBS did). HBO's schedule is a little more loose than other channels - while certain programs do start on the hour/half-hour...

Sesame Street Special "Sesame Street's 50th Anniversary Celebration"

No, that was Ryan Dillon, unexpectedly (but not surprisingly) slaying it. Leela's in the green top; she's the one who comes in with Maria and Luis during "Welcome!"

Sesame Street Special "Sesame Street's 50th Anniversary Celebration"

I was wondering if PBS would do something to fill the hour: instead of irising out to the credits, it goes to black and they play a bunch of those "Sesame Street Memory" videos. Also, you should be able to watch it for free here now (for a limited time)...

Sesame Street Season 50 Episode 5001 - Big Bird Across America

That was a nice little street plot; I look forward to the Road Trip segments throughout the season. Stephanie really nailed the dry way Fran did Little Bird. The Dave Grohl song was catchy (maybe too much la-la-ing, but whatevs). Nothing else new except for new Letter/Number intros. Not sure I...

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street YouTube marathon Friday November 15, 2019

I see no reason not to. Who the heck is going to sit there and watch all 12 hours? People (like me) are no doubt tuning in and out throughout the day.
