Unearthing previously "lost" Sesame Street episodes

There have been a few in the last few years that are just the newest characters, but it feels like an oddity still. (You also couldn't do an episode like that now because it has actual jokes in it.)

Unearthing previously "lost" Sesame Street episodes

Another funny Joey Mazzarino-penned episode: https://muppet.fandom.com/wiki/Episode_3623 It's so crazy to me that this and 3220 have only the "Around the Corner" characters.

    Sesame Street Special "Elmo's Playdate"

My one wish was that there was more Ernie and Bert (and Prairie). But that was cute for what it was.

Sesame went down hill when Elmo came on the scene

...Sesame Street also fits that description and it managed to be one of the funniest shows around.

Sesame went down hill when Elmo came on the scene

Furry Arms was a funny conceit and a lot of really funny stuff happened there, fer sure. But I can see what some felt it was weird having a high-class hotel on a seemingly inner-city street. Furchester was a nice way of expanding on that idea, but it was nowhere near as funny.

It really stems from watching enough of whatever main characters they do - you can see the different ways each performer works, and they you're able to notice the same movements in other characters.

It looks like the main four to me, or least three of them (Jim is the Pumpkin guy, Richard is Lavender, and Jerry is Fat Blue. Frank maybe the Green.).

    Sesame Street Season 50 Episode 5022 - The Disappoint-O-Meter

I'm would wager given his smaller role in the street story (and the photo evidence), he did Big Bird. Nothing of Caroll's was used in the final mix. On tonight's MOMI stream, Stephanie theorized (probably correctly) that Caroll was not 100% well the day they did it, so the vocals might not have...

Sesame went down hill when Elmo came on the scene

I've been much more tolerant of changes made that others opposed over the last several years because there was always still good stuff in them. Take the Season 33 format change - some things didn't really work, but hey, there were a slew of new, funny Cookie Monster sketches. Since the season...

    Sesame Street Season 50 Episode 5022 - The Disappoint-O-Meter

That was fine, I suppose. Though being disappointed certainly applies here - whatever vocals Caroll recorded for this episode were re-dubbed by Matt (I'm sure he didn't quite enjoy doing that).

    COVID-19 Coronavirus News and Updates

They're reporting our state's curve is beginning to flatten, and it'll be maybe a month until we see the result of it. So, I guess that's good. Our town's cases have been going up, but they've yet to even hit 100 yet (out of 10,000+ residents). I also caught a cold, which considering the...
