    Oscar's attitude

It's either written in "The Works" or discussed on the "Wonderful World of Jim Henson" PBS documentary, that Oscar's poor attitude is to relate to toddler's frustrations and meet them on a level to show that everyone gets grumpy, so according to that, his poor attitude was deliberatelt intentional.

Wow, awesome info guys! Now, were the puppeteers operating just the heads? Or were they the bodies as well? And are there any pics of the puppets?

Who are the Muppets in your Neighborhood?

I didn't realize it when he was alive (unfortunately he died last year), but my Uncle Al was the spitting image of Statler, and my Uncle Bill looks exactly like Waldorf.

    American Idol Puppets

Anyone catch last nights American Idol? There was a commercial of the current Idols singing Diggable Planet's "Rebirth of Slick" and they were full size puppet versions of themselves, pretty cool I thought.

    Gonzo's acts

He also did some fast salsa/tango type dancing with some cheese too. One of my favorite Gonzo acts never actually appeared on TMS, but rather in a book titled "Beauregard Saves the Show" where he dresses like a cowboy and rides a giant squash rodeo style.

    Piggy clip at the Oscars

Yeah, that shot of Robin Williams laughing always kind of bothered me as well, I don't know why though. But you're right, it's the best documentary of Jim ever. Very thorough.

    A possible Sesame Street figure...

We certainly don't have enough Richard Hunt characters.

Lots of MUP3s, wanna' trade? Okay, so I LOVE Muppet Central Radio, and I've developed quite a collection of Muppet music myself, so this is my Muppet MP3 trading thread. Here's what I want: Sesame Street Doin' the Pigeon - Bert I Wanna' Hold Your Ear - Bert Count One Banana Handful of...

    MuppetFest 2?

Are we still stealing Muppets and Muppeteers? How long and how many threads is this gonna' go over? I've been in this bus for like, four months now! I'm gettin' car sick...

    Naming the Muppet Fan

Maybe we coin a word that doesn't even have the word "muppet" tied into it, like... Fangles... Maybe not.

    Piggy clip at the Oscars

That's it, I have it and I forgot the name of it. I think the stars reactions to the gags aren't their actual reactions though, I always felt that the laugh track was a bit embellished on that one.

    A possible Sesame Street figure...

Man that'd be cool, but here's two points I think that give both a case for and a case against: The case for Sesame Street Muppets have made appearances on TMS, so there's an even trade off. But I'd imagine that Disney really owns the popular cast. Whatnots are up for grabs as far as liscencing...
