Can I ask how the Joey puppet was handled in your production [e.g. who and how was it puppeteered]? And the Elephant-Bird? Not a bad idea. Pretty small role that might be hard to be filled by a middle school-aged kid and a puppet would surely be better than a stuffed animal. I'll have to...
I definitely agree with everything you've said. But for me, perhaps it's my age, but I've found it hard to difficult to create my own projects with puppetry mostly due to the lack of opportunity outside of talent shows (I'm unaware of any puppet companies in the west side of Westchester, my...
My copies of season 1 and 2 have loose disc problems on disc 1 for each. Disc 2 of SST Old School, vol. 2 has the same problem. I HATE those types of DVD cases, too! :boo:
Hmmm, I got a crazy idea: since in some productions the small kangaroo is played by a younger human actor [something the director of this production seems to be considering, does anyone think the idea of having an on-stage puppeteer walking around the stage crouched down [to be in scale] when...
Time for more stories from the fantastic world of BobThePizzaBoy's high school theater life... :p
My school is doing Seussical as the fall production (just found a few hours ago) and looking into the show: I've realized that the production can be done with certain characters being puppets...
Let's see. #1, #2, #3, #5, #8, #10. 6, not that bad...
10 Signs You Are BobThePizzaBoy
1. You'll go to see a movie just to see the short film before it, a cameo from an actor you adore or a specific trailer.
2. Whenever you go into a store you HAVE to buy whatever Muppet merchandise you see...
Right now, I honestly think 2010 is out of the question unless they were to start filming now for a Christmas release (which, according to Cory Edwards is really not likely) so I am personally not expecting anything for 2 years so it's really looking like 2011 right now.
This is good news! I was actually wondering about the DVD of this coming out the other day. This will hopefully be a well-done release.
Speaking of which (even if I might be grilled about asking this) but do we know anything about DVD releases of the Studio DC specials?
Just got back from the theater. The movie was pretty good, not the best movie ever, but still pretty good (the whole movie was pretty much a live-action cartoon). Seeing Oscar's pretty funny cameo was gold more me. You could tell Caroll was pretty awkward with the puppetry which took away from...
I just saw this today! I can't wait for December to roll around. I love the Statler & Waldorf ornament and the 2005 Kermit ornament (brings back nostalgic memories of 8th grade, probably my favorite year of school before I started high school) so I really hope this ends up being a great (and...
I'm going to pay tribute tonight by watching a lot of Muppet movies. If I just get the first three classic Muppet movies in, I'll be happy.
We all miss you Jim. :(
Yeah, the Disney Treasures sets are amazing. I have:
Mickey Mouse in Living Color (both volumes)
Mickey Mouse in Black and White (only vol. 2) :(
The Chronological Donald (all 4 volumes!)
The Complete Pluto (both)
Silly Symphonies (only vol 2 as well)
Oswald the Lucky Rabbit
On the Front Lines...
I didn't expect it, but I kind of saw it coming. They have Kermit, Oscar, Ernie and Bert at the Smithsonian, so I made a fancy hope one of them would appear. Looks like my hope came true! May 22. Be there. :grouchy:
The events hosted by Dave Goelz are a MUST. Words can't describe what a nice and funny guy Dave is. You'll love him... Gonzo, too. :concern:
You also can't pass up seeing The Muppet Movie and The Great Muppet Caper in a theater, but then again, those are completely your option.
Muppet...
