This is the first Nicktoon Shout! releases on DVD in general retail? Nobody I know even watched this show on a frequent basis! It was a show you watched when nothing else was on. I really hope Shout! releases earlier Nick shows in general retail. I hate to complain, but wow. :(
Oh, that's a great point! I was really going to focus more on a SST/TMS/FR slant but I didn't even think of using the classic commercials as an example! :)
Hey, maybe the JHLC here can help me out.
I need some ideas for a speech I am doing on the impact Jim Henson has had on media as a whole. I'm really at a loss on where to begin ultimately, anybody have any ideas or opinions for me? :):p
Well at least MGM wasn't dumb enough to give that insane movie a theatrical release. I don't think I'd be able to bear Eric Idle as evil Martin on a big movie screen in surround sound... I can barely stand it in the Nostalgia Critic's review! :)
HERE IS A MUPPET NEWSFLASH...
Filming is finished! As of yesterday February 11, the filming of The Muppets is finished! I hope this means a trailer isn't too far off! :)
Season 1 came out the summer before I started 8th grade (last year of middle school) and now I'm in the middle of freshman year of college. Insanity these season sets I tell ya.
Thanks for your help but there's one problem: the version of the Sesame Street theme you sent me isn't the one on the CD. I'm looking for the version performed by Gladys Knight and the Pips, otherwise it's perfect.
OK, now I have Muppet Beach Party and Kermit Unpigged. Currently looking for these albums:
Rowlf the Dog: Ol' Brown Ears Is Back
Sesame Road (preferably ripped from CD version)
Born to Add (ditto)
Jim Henson: A Sesame Street Celebration
Sing: Songs of Joe Raposo
I'm going home this weekend and...
Would anyone care to assist me in sending me the following albums?
Muppet Beach Party
Rowlf the Dog: Ol' Brown Ears Is Back
Kermit Unpigged
Sesame Road
Born to Add
That will be all for now, my computer got wiped due to a repair that had to be made, I have to re-do my whole Muppet music...
I'll have to see how the reviews are with this movie. It had an 80% on Rotten Tomatoes yesterday, now it's at 60%. If the reviews are good enough, I just may have to see this movie. :o
But, yeah, I noticed Kermit's "cameo" by chance watching a promotional video. I was still very impressed that...
A Muppet/Pizza Hut ad from the Super Bowl 7 years ago. This takes me back... I think this might have been the Classic Muppets' last appearance before the sale to Disney.

Yes, I'm still in a Christmas mindset for some reason, I need something to keep me happy in this freezing weather. :)
I was looking into buying all the Sesame Street Christmas albums (which I don't own in CD form for some reason) for next Christmas last month. One thing that threw me through a...
I hate to admit it, but I'm technically from the Delphi era...
Back in elementary school when I was around 8 or 9, I decided to fake my way into creating an account on Delphi to go on MC. I posed as my dad (who surprisingly was okay with it when I asked him about registering ). After a...
I'm not sure if anybody has heard about this yet on here, but veteran Sesame Street songwriter as well as the screenwriter of Follow That Bird, Tony Geiss, passed away either last night or this morning, perhaps even earlier, I can't seem to find any news articles about it.
Regardless, may he...
I wouldn't say Blue Sky's non-Ice Age movies were flops per se. Robots still received mostly positive reviews and a good box office total despite it being a bit underwhelming compared to the original Ice Age. And Horton Hears a Who (in my opinion, Blue Sky's best movie) was still a big success...
