I lost 10 more pounds since my last post here, but then I had a relatively stressful week and thanks to the holiday put 5 pounds back. However, after a week of vigorous exercise and getting the eating back under control, I took the 5 pounds back off. I'm now 5 pounds away from my "healthy"...
I've been watching a lot of MST3K, and I never realized how many Muppet and Jim references there are. Some are really obscure too, which proves they were superfans. I found a complete list of them on the wiki too!
Old, I know, but so awesome!
People say my Kermit is good, but as an honest truth – it's not. I like to do Grover, and I think it's not too shabby, but as a general rule; I've never seen (or rather heard) anyones Muppet impersonation that was great, myself included.
I believe that Gonzo is the hardest voice to imitate.
The MuppetWiki notes even more errors!
While it may be a big read for young children, "Jim Henson – The Works" is a beautiful book with TONS of fantastic photos. "Street Gang", IMO offers more information on Jim then anything I have ever read, but it's not all rose colored, and certainly not...
Down another three pounds! The 5.5 mile cross country hike yesterday did me good, and the 1 mile run everyday for a week prior to that helped too!
I've never felt better, and while I still have 15 pounds to go, I'm so proud of myself for working so hard.
Me: 30 pounds difference
YAY! Awesome job!
I'm down another 2 myself. I'm supposed to do 1600 calories a day. That's without exercise. After exercise though, I'm supposed to do about 2100 calories, but I'm coming in at almost half that.
Stairs will definitely kick butt. It's some of the best exercise there is...
Healthy Choice/Lean Cuisine... those were critical to me when I started dieting four months ago. They're super high in sodium, but they taste great and they really helped me jump start things.
From what I'm to understand, TCB met Lee Norris at Sesame Street and he formed a relationship with them and went on to write a fair amount of music for them. I can't find anything really on the MuppetWiki about Mr. Norris other then that he arranged some music for Sesame Street back in the 70s...
Kiki, am I following you on DA? I thought I was, but I didn't get any updates that you uploaded new stuff. Can you post us a link here to your page?
You know, I've always wondered how Jim would feel knowing so much of his doodles have been published since he passed. I love them, you love...
Muppet Madness Tournament Art
Now that it's all done, and if you haven't already seen all of it, Steve from The Muppet Cast, and Joe from Tough Pigs asked me early on to create graphics for the Muppet Madness Tournament. At first, all I did was the logo, but eventually I created the Finals...
I believe Jim's footage to the final montage was added with the 1993 renovation that re-did the Golden Dream song. I think the only other footage added since has been the firemen footage from September 11th.
Actually now that you mention it...
Does anyone have (or does there even exist) a "clean" copy of the music from the Muppet Vision 3D Show? I'm not talking about the queue music, I'm talking the audio from the show without vocals, specifically the opening Muppet Show theme.
I have the full...
The golden rule is always in moderation. I go to Chili's two or three times a month and I pig out. But you can't just give everything up, and having a super-greasy-fatty meal every once in awhile okay, if it really only is once in awhile.
My wife and I swore off all eating out until Memorial...
My wife is very supportive, and believe it or not, there is a significant element of appreciating the human form as art, and not purely erotic. Keeping in mind this is a family forum, I won't go into specifics or details, but she encourages me.
How have I not been watching you? Added! :excited:
