Hey Animated, maybe you could sell it on Craigslist or Kijiji. I get rid of alot of things that way, because people specifically look for what it is you have, and are willing to pay more than at a yard sale.
Hmm, these are really interesting, though a bit morbid. ;) Personally, I wonder if he didn't die in 1990, would he have already passed away by now, or would he still be alive?
Jamie, of the names that you listed, I think all the ones I recognize would be better than poor Jimmy Fallon. He just doesn't seem the type.
I was just thinking... maybe it's time for Jon Stewart to get a network show?
I love Conan. He needs an 11:30 time slot! He seriously deserves it. Leno is/was okay, I guess, but both him and Letterman are old. I'm not really amused by anything they say. I think Conan is more in touch with younger people then they are.
As for Jimmy Fallon... :/
Great thread, Dave!
My heritage is Scottish and French-Canadian, on both my parent's sides, actually, which is bizarre. I do know that one of my relatives a great (x4 or 5) grandfather (whose last name I share) was a home child from Scotland. A generation or two before that, the family was...
Oh my GOSH. Speaking of phone stuff, I constantly get calls from this poor confused greek lady who thinks I'm the cable company. She calls me and proceeds to tell me, very rapidly with a very thick accent, how she is not getting the greek channels that she is paying for and how can this happen...
Imperial system < Metric System.
That's all I have to say.
Actually, no it's not. Cause, and you guys must promise me, if you DO ever have to convert to metric, PLEASE keep the british spelling? Litre, metre, etc. No 'er's here!
Wow, was it during a panel session or something? That's amazing! If you do find a video, send the link my way. :D And best of luck; they better call you!
Brits and canadians use litres, not whatever crazy measurement you guys use (gallons or something?); you converted the money but didn't account for that. :p We're probably paying about the same price if it were measured in equal amounts.
Here it's about $1.15 a litre. :/
... What? This is blasphemy! Now that you're back we can't have you leave again! Quick! Beau, grab a chair. Prawnie, get some rope or those stretchy bungee cords. Tony, find something with which we can hold his eyes open. We must show him how GOOD a thing MC is... yes... GOOD...
**cough**...
Hahahaa! Awesome. Everyone here hates on her but I'm glad you can look beyond and see her good qualities. :p
But yeah, I loved that quote about Elvis and the Beatles; it's something to think about, most definitely.
Wow! You asked the Venture Brothers people for a job? You've got guts! They should call you. Promise me you'll tell me if they do; I like to keep tabs on how famous all my friends are. :p Good for you, dude!
P.s. Great to see you matey. **big hugs**
Dang straight! You already know how awesome I think your drawings are, but the autographs deserve just a bit more squeeing.
SQUEE! So awesome!
Okay, I'm done. :)
Steve, I finally had a chance to listen to Fran's interview. It was fantastic; thank you so much! She was nice enough to answer my question (About how little girls look up to her female roles) and her answer was amazing to hear. What she said is so true, there are so many types of little girls...
