Sheesh...is there no end to the chopping apart of our beloved company's productions?
I'm glad that they managed to release a (pretty much) uncut version of the movie on R2 dvd, but I can't help but wonder if we'll ever see the Celebration of 30 Years hit DVD now that the companies are so...
Welcome to the board Mr UrRu (...or *insert name here*...).
When I bought the dvd version last Christmas, the song was missing and I was very surprised because I hadn't heard anything about cuts to the movie before then. I hunted through second hand shops and managed to get hold of an old...
Ja! Is windy...is cold...is rainy...is sooo despressing....would one of you package some heat and send it my way? We have floods in a whole heap of towns around here at the moment.
*high five* Join the club!
So...I was once transported to the future year of 3002 (or was it 3004? I was so concerned about it being 3000 and something I forget the specifics...) Took me ages to get home. Michael Jackson was the president of the world...everything but his heart and his left...
Father: *unconcious...conciousness begins to drift..backwards...shifting...*

Parker: *on roof* Huh? What the...*loses balance and slips, slidding down the tiles, and smacks onto the grass*...*falling unconcious*
Father: *unconcious* Parker?
Parker: *unconcious* ...Yes?
Father...
Father: Until the day that a brother of a pregnant nanny who I thought was harmless until this moment -- the brother, not the nanny, athough, she is harmless too in her own glass-eating sort of way -- would drop from the ceiling -- I hope you didn't leave fingerprints there, young man -- and aim...
Father: ...At least I got one thing right...But I'd hate to get this suit wet so...which documents? Exactly? Because I think I left my briefcase at work and it's such a bother to get by security to get that thing without being asked if I want a coffee, or being briefed on the currant affiliation...
Not bad for a rat...I wonder if he got paid for having his name on the list? Any rat worth his salt (milkshake? mfs?) would have gotten top-listing, or more money.
Father: *slams onto the floor, with gun aimed at self* I'm really not in the mood for water-fights, boy...go aim that gun at the kittens...or your wife or something...
Father: A past...is a terrable thing to waste. *looks at camera in semi-dramatic style*

Meanwhile...in the past...
Parker: *sitting crosslegged on the roof of the Moppet House in the early morning sunlight* Friday is tomorrow...and I still don't understand the meaning of that phone...
Hope no one minds my reviving a really old thread...but I liked when we used to have all the New Movie discussions grouped together, rather than scattered hither and thither. It's impossible to limit one movie conversation to one topic anyway, so we may as well keep them together and leave room...
Hehe! I think they could have/could still work, there were just a few too many threads. I've always been strit on MopFam having only it's main thread, and then a very few other specific threads.
I must say though, the whole toast thing is quite different to the multiple Deal threads...toast, like Muffins, Swaehb, and The Muppet Family, developed of itself in a hilarious manner and...tastes delicious with melty butter and jam.

Except for Sam, eh? I dunno. He seems to be quite comfortable with touching everyone he comes in contact with. I don't know if you've noticed? Anytime he is talking to another Muppet (or celebrity) he begins to stroke their shoulder, or touch their arm. I've always put this down to a little...
