    Favorite Late-Night Talk-Show?

Watched Conan since '93. I'll check out Letterman too, but I'm more of an old-school Dave fan, from when he was a young upstart on NBC (where Conan is now). In those days, the show was a lot funnier. Andy Kaufman would often show up. Not because he was promoting anything, Dave just liked...

How's the weather where you are?

Still cloudy, dark and rainy. Although I still continue with my (almost) daily run through the woods. One time I was deep in the middle of the forest, and a thunderstorm started.

Any favorite 80's shows and movies anyone?

You mean this show is still being aired? Oh yeah, back in the 80s, this was a pretty big show indeed. TV Guide used to run half-page ads about upcoming episodes. The actors were interviewed for various magazines. I remember reading one interview where the guy who played the father on the...

Shrek Spoiler: Wal-Mart ruined a big surprise

Oh yeah, back in the old days, Talk Soup would often have "guests" sit in for whatever host was out for the week. I remember Juliette Lewis did the show. Jerry Springer did it. Joan Rivers. Dustin Hoffman and Robert Duvall even appeared in a sketch.

Shrek Spoiler: Wal-Mart ruined a big surprise

I watched E!'s Talk Soup almost from the very beginning. IMO, Greg Kinnear was the show. Sometimes after a particularly strange or disturbing clip, he'd just sit there, staring in silence for like 15 seconds. Funny, funny stuff. Too bad he left. Wonder what he's doing these days...?;)...

    Summertime!

Heh. Pretty close. I live in a Norman Rockwell-like town. Or maybe it's closer to Mayberry, I dunno. I go to the local barber and get my hair cut for $6.00. Summertime folks go down to the ol' fishin' hole. Summer means fresh, homemade strawberry shortcakes. The center of town is lit...

    Summertime!

Oh yeah! There was nothing like waking up on a school morning and seeing everything covered with snow! Bonus if it was still coming down! Then I would glue my ear to the radio and wait for the cancellation announcement. Woo-hoo! Snow day! Time to go outside, have snowball fights, build a...
