Well, so far they have done a total of 4082 shows! Don't you think it sounds like it would be a bit much?
Listen, I would love to see a DVD collection of every episode of SS ever made as well, but I just don't think they can do it.
Probably as a nice surprise.
But you know what I always do? We get 4 PBS stations in our area, and the others don't really do that. I think you get another one where you live, too, NJN. Do they usually talk over credits?
I know you're feeling, and I see that you're from Rhode Island! I know that feeling! In fact, for awhile, I thought Cox Communications was the worst cable system in the company, because they didn't have Noggin when everyone else did! Why was that?
Anyway, lots of us here on Muppet Central...
I was afraid that WGBH would do a voiceover as well! They always do, but they DIDN'T this time! I wonder why!
Also, I fainted when I saw Baker #10 as well, but the "10 bells" part of it I think was newly added. Wasn't it? I noticed the numbers were in a slightly different font.
I think I do agree that it could have had more old clips, like "Count It Higher", for one example. But the fact that they made an effort to do this special does prove that the people at Sesame Workshop know that there is a market out there for classic Sesame Street fans like us. :)
Well, I just watched it, and I thought it was wonderful! For the letter of the day, "C", they had the cartoon typewriter guy! That's so wonderful! I didn't really care for that new version of "Me and My Chair" though, I prefer the old one with the man singing, and accompanied by nothing but a...
Well, I was just talking with this girl from this other forum that I'm a member of. And she does respect my interest in SS, but she says that I shouldn't go overboard with it. That is, she thinks that I should try to limit my SS, so that I don't have to watch it every day. But I told her that I...
Wow. That really hurt. I didn't even see the bottom in the first place. Listen, there are some April Fool jokes that are not very funny at all, and this is one of them. You don't mess with Sesame Street.
But see, my copy has digital pixelation. It's something you sometimes get with digital cable and satellite. Okay now, I'm upset about this, too! Unfortunately, a lot of my Noggin shows are like that, like 1736, 1740, 1836, 2059, 2257, and quite a few others! I wish they had fixed it in time, or...
By the way, did you notice that at the very end of the final scene on #2282, for some reason, the very end of the closing theme was cut off for some reason?
I remember one that was very similar to the "W" one, where he was talking about the letter "B". The monster ate pieces of it, and it turned into an "R", and then a "P", then an "F", and then an "I", or an "l", or a 1, or dessert!
There was another one where he was talking about the feeling of...
