Bear performed about 8:30am CST. It was really good. Like his appearances in the past on MDA, he sang three songs including the Goodbye song at the end (always my favorite). However, this year instead of trying to teach the kids the Cha-cha-cha, he just let them dance their own dance. Very cute...

"I was only trying to get a picture and suddenly the ride took off. Fortunately my shoelace and pride were the only things broken." ;)
Well, I'm certainly not a "newb" as you put it, but from what I understand the lyrics have been cited both ways. The way I see it, both ways are correct.
Just wanted to remind everyone that tonight (Wednesday, August 18) is the night that the Blue Ribbon show airs it's episode on the Leland Birthplace of the Frog Museum. If you get a chance to watch it, let us know what you think.
Please see the first post for time and channel details.
Terry! I just realized that your lion puppet doesn't have a name!!! You can't let him go without giving him a name. Of course the new adoptive parent can always give him a new one, but it just doesn't seem right. I was thinking something like Rory G. Pickles. Any other ideas?
MirandaPanda, I'm not clear on what your question is exactly. I believe we know of the song you're talking about and that it is called "Mahna Mahna". Are you wanting to know where you can find the song? This particular song does play on Muppet Central Radio...

I do believe that you are our very first Great-great-grandparent here at Muppet Central. Congratulations!
I only knew one of my great grandparents and she was the sweetest lady ever. Grandparents are special, enjoy your family!
Very nice looking! I especially like his wide eyes and slight under-bite. Gives him a real neat personality. Just one question though... Did his nose turn green after smelling that sulphuric acid? :o
He's really great, he should do well in the auction. Glad you and your wife had a nice time...
Uhm, sorry if I didn't make it clear but the Birthplace of the Frog Exhibit in Leland, MS is the Henson exhibit. Again if you go to www.turnersouth.com and look under the "Blue Ribbon" show and it might help make it clearer.

I read the article before I saw the picture and I have to admit, they don't look as bad as I thought they would. They're not great though. Not sure why Phevos is wearing a dress. You'd think after Izzy they would have done a little better.
Missed this as well. Chomper looks great! Love the Oscar photo and story. Very clever! I bet it will go for more, things always get heated the last few minutes. Good luck!
