Nate,
Tuba-Guy (Kermit addresses him by name, but now I don't remember it) isn't Poodlepants. Never seen Tuba-Guy before, don't mind if I never see him again.
Tuba-Guy.

We've seen Muppets consume alcohol before....
"If you put enough sugar in this, it tastes just like Ginger Ale!"
In the Great Muppet Caper, Kermit, Piggy, and Fozzie all drink champagne, and we've seen Kermit and Piggy drinking the finest wine in Idaho, and there have been plenty others...
Sweetums,
The guy who throws the ball at Kermit in "Cirque" is indeed the same puppet as Mr. Poodlepants, but without him talking, it's hard to say if it's "really" him. As far as I remember, Mr. Poodlepants always had his tongue sticking out of his mouth too, and I don't remember if...
This was WAY before Muppets Tonight, so it would have been based on Classic Pigs In Space.
And this comes up fairly regularly on eBay and other sites....wouldn't hurt to look for it!

It *IS* a shame that a company...group of creative talent that is obviously skilled and has such a legacy....is struggling so much for it's very survival. Especially when there's so much (schmoo) out there that's having money THROWN at it--like, say, Eddie Murphy's career.

My favorites are Kermit and Gonzo---sorry, but I don't think the Muppets would have worked out without the Green Guy. And Gonzo, let's just say I understand where he's coming from. And where's he's been. Including his head stuck in an escalator.

Wow. You people live in some pretty harsh, intolerant places! I never had anyone say ANYTHING negative about my SS/Muppet devotion...and I wore Sesame Street and Muppet "Bow Biters" on my shoes for seven years!
Really, the only comments I ever got were people telling me their own nice...
Right now....here's where they stand:
Muppet Family Christmas
Christmas Eve On Sesame Street
Muppet Christmas Carol (it's taken a long time to win me over)
Very Merry Muppet Something Something Christmas Something
...I've never REALLY gotten into either Emmet Otter or The...
LOL!
Cory, I just brought this game home from my parent's house, where it had been sitting on the shelf for a good four years, and loaded it on my PC at home--my wife was playing it for several hours today! Then I come here and read this....NICE. Synergy, baby.
It IS pretty sweet. Wish...
I had drawn a few Muppet Rouge parodies over the last year or so....and always cast Kermit, Piggy, and Fozzie as we saw them in the movie; but adding Robin as the Green Fairy was a stroke of genius! I also liked how they "sepiatoned" the opening of the show to make it look like the flick...
Of those you've listed, I'm all for:
Kermit in Coat and Scarf
Moulin Scrooge Piggy w/Swing and Penguin (hubba hubba!)
Street Performer Gonzo
Rave Scooter
I'd also have to throw in Bouncer Beaker, Can-Can Janice, and Green Fairy Robin!
Great choices...although I don't see Palisades...
Spike Jonze and the Muppets....THAT would be brilliant.
Wow.
I just saw this today, and I had been reading snippets of what y'all were saying before I saw it, and I was readying myself for disappointment of "MFS" proportions.
You know what? I really liked it. A lot. I'm not sure...
I'm glad they're back. Although I won't see the movie until as late as Sunday (we moved this week and life is crazy), I saw Janice in the periphery of a clip with Piggy in the Moulin Scrooge number, and she was looking saucy.
Very nice.
Glad they're back.
Wish I were home instead of at...
I don't know how much Steve's Kermit and Ernie have gotten BETTER versus that we've GOTTEN USED to how they sound now. If you listen to him voicing Kermit in "A Muppet Christmas Carol," it's very similar to how he is now...not much change in the last decade or so.

I saw it and loved it--it was one of the better interviews Kermit has done recently. Ann Curry was the interviewer, and she's not the best, but did a competent job. They gave Kermit/Steve a sleeve that's the same fabric as the sofa, so it was less jarring when Steve's elbow was in the frame...
*radiating waves of jealousy*
Very cool guys--and thanks for the box scans--glad to see they're being promoted so heavily there...and especially in the very competitive time just before Christmas....
NICE.

Would the performers even have to have been there? Could they have just looped the voices, or has Eric definitively taken over Fozzie now?
MAN, my grammar's bad after eating 20 lbs of food...
