I despise many things 80's, but love the Muppets and Muppet Babies.
But 80's music?
80's movies?
80's television?
80's hair?
80's fashion?
80's art?
80's politics?
80's economics?
80's literature?
I dislike all of the above.
With a few exceptions.

I think The Count is Jewish as well...possibly just because it's fun to count the Menorah candles. It could just be the whole Eastern European Jewry thing. But my memory is synthesizing something County and Jewish. I'll work on it.

Hey Jamie,
Thanks for your comments--that was a little more detailed than some of your other posts on the topic, and it's a more fair and balanced look at it. I accept it.
But I still like Muppet Babies.
Howie Mandel's Animal and Skeeter still make my eye twitch...
This thread's a GREAT idea!
Growing up, Scooter was always my LEAST favorite character--he wasn't as visual, as funny, wacky, or scary as the other characters, and rarely got his turn to shine. It's only been in the last decade or so that I've seen how great the character was, and how much...
Not that we've heard...but with all of the old TV shows they've been releasing lately, there's always a chance!
I'd love to see some of those episodes again.

Wow.
This is my LEAST favorite of any Muppet/Fraggle/Sesame Street album I own, and I have over 40 different CDs in my li'l collection. I really can't stand it. There are a few bright moments, like...uh...
I guess my favorite tracks would also be Sugar Shack and Papa Oo Mow Mow or...
My trampy girlfriend in highschool said that Don Music and Rowlf were two of the biggest reasons she ever started playing the piano...and she's an excellent pianist.
I think the other one was Schroeder. She's was very influenceable.

I loved it, even though I was already 12 when the cartoon started up! Great imagination, great themes, characters, and an imaginative way to continue the Muppet characters while Jim Henson, Frank Oz, and the rest were busy pursuing other things.
And it gave June Cleaver a job again.
I'm...
Here are mine, in the order they've impacted me:
1) Palisades Action Figures
2) MasterCard Commercials
3) Very Merry Muppet Christmas
4) Weezer's Video
5) Game Show appearances
6) Macy's Promotions/Windows/Parade
A very good year, all in all--here's hoping 2003 is even better...
Personally, this is my least favorite and least useful of all of the very cool accessories that come with Rizzo...I doubt I'd ever use it whether it extends or not.

:D
My decision is...as much as I would LOVE them, I probably can't afford to do it right now. We just moved into a three-bedroom townhouse (from a one-bedroom pit), and in between that and Miles wanting clothes and food and me wanting all sorts of stuff, I'll probably put those on...
Yeah, just as I was opening my mouth to my wife that "there are way too many marching bands in this !#$!#$ parade," that one came on and they were playing the Sesame Street theme.
So then I was excited. And we surfed through a few channels and found them again, and they played The Muppet...
I'm guessing EITHER Funyuns OR a chloriney pool spigot would really rully rilly STING.
So hopefully whatever it was with Funyuns and a pool spigot in the hot tub, he's learned his lesson.
That almost sounded like a solution to "Clue."

Nice, Luke....if there were an emoticon for me taking off my hat to you, I'd use it now. I'll have settle for saying "great work."
If only I had some gratuitous penguin naughtiness to send your way.

For the record,
I'll probably end up seeing KSY. Eventually.
And I liked the first few years of Muppet Babies. I think it did more good than harm in terms of character recognition and revival among Generation Y, and only animation buffs tend to notice things like 6-frame vs. 12-frame...
