Cons:
The new theme music was a little upsetting, since they had used the same closing theme for 15 years.
I didn't like the new Abby song, or that Chris Brown song. And I was REALLY upset when they redid the "In the Library" song. They kept the original video, but the recording is...
I read something about this, but I don't know if it was true. I just recently started uploading videos to YouTube (no Sesame Street, unfortunately), and there was this one that got removed. It was Jessica Simpson hosting the Teen Choice Awards last year. But interestingly enough, it was actually...
Episode 2953 most definitely is the one where Telly broke Luis's vase. Not everything on Muppet Wiki is correct. And all of the reruns from Season 21 (1989-90) in Season 23 were episodes 2891-2905, and 2916-2920.
Are you sure this was Season 25? I don't remember this at all. All of the Season 25 reruns I remember:
3165/2910
3167/2957
3168/2949
3173/2912
3174/2951
3175/2876
3176/2936
3177/2967
3183/2956
3184/2929
3185/2935
3186/2926
3188/2924
3195/2990
3197/2953
3243/2966
3250/2915...
The first one you mentioned was episode 2953, and it reran as episode 3197. The second one you mentioned, I'm actually not sure about. Do you remember anything else that happened in that episode?
I'll tell you where I'm getting it. There's this woman who I regularly talk to, Vicki Levy. She works in the Music Department of the show. None of this has actually happened yet, this is just what she was told. And actually, I think half of the set will be real, and half of it will be computer...
SO WHAT? What do you mean SO WHAT? This is like one of the biggest changes they've ever made, if not the biggest! There's not even going to be a REAL SET anymore! It appears that after Season 38, the set that we all know and love will be GONE!
You won't believe this!
Okay, about the theme music:
ALL of the theme music in Season 38 will be new. Opening, play-on, closing, credits, etc. None of it is going to be the same. And the theme is mostly going to be computer-animated. And also, listen to this. I was told that Season 38 is the...
They didn't really do a lot of #1 sketches in the '70s and '80s. I don't think they had too many episodes sponsored by the number 1 until about 1988 or so. I think they figured that kids didn't really need to learn about the number 1, and it was so simple, it didn't really need to be taught.
There isn't one. I just talked to her again, and she said that it's been pushed back to September now. There have been some delays. I don't really know what's going on, but that's what she said.
