In the scenes with the Electric Mayhem, I kept expecting Lips to say something, considering that last winter Steve Whitmire supposedly had Lips say something in a way that makes him know who the character is now. This would have been an opportunity.
I can't believe that Janice was mostly cut...
The last season of SCTV aired on Cinemark (or was it Cinemax?) in a 45-minute format. That channel was commercial free, so what's the deal of having a show that short? With no commercial interruptions, they'd need 15 minutes of commercial time to fill before the next program (or maybe split the...
A lot of people are saying that the Muppets were treated more like guests despite sharing the title with Lady Gaga. And while the non-Muppet scenes may be a little too long, I'd say that if the Muppets were just guests they probably wouldn't have had all those Muppet segments without Lady Gaga.
This special was a lot better than I was hoping. So most of the non-Muppet portions weren't that good, and I feel like some of the songs (even Kermit and Lady Gaga's duet) were just too long. But this is not the worst special the Muppets have ever done. I think it's better than The Muppets Go...
I didn't think to look up twering until right after making my post.
Which leads to another question...
Why do so many of us (including myself) ask questions without thinking to look it up on Google?
Should I look up the answer to that question on Google?
Wow, now there's people questioning why Mo Frackle is there? Currently he's the most obscure character that we know is in the special. In fact that number where he's shown is like those numbers on The Muppet Show that would have the main cast and an obscure character or two.
Yeah I'm pretty sure there are no season 30-34 episodes on iTunes. In fact before I did my last post I checked the iTunes Store page at Muppet Wiki to see which "seasons" are on iTunes (each grouping of episodes by season is just half a season).
Of course if they wanted to do a 12-episode...
One thing I suddenly thought would be great for the 45th anniversary: A special iTunes release of 45 episodes, one per season. Yeah, it might be a bit much, since somebody at Sesame Workshop confirmed via correspondence with one of our members that there's no current plans to release any more...
I can't believe they would reject a pitch just because it was so detailed about what the creator wanted.
So it makes sense that they would want to see drawings of the characters, if it's an animated show (and maybe a puppet show), but what if it's a normal live-action show (meaning the main...
So does anybody have any idea what creators of TV shows do when they send their first pitch of the show to a company to produce?
What I would do, and I don't know if this is normal (and I don't know if anybody here knows the answer, but they might), would be to send in a letter with info...
After reading this, I'm surprised that Rocky only had a brief mention during Kermit's first introduction, as opposed to heavily focusing on the fact that he was the star of that movie (like how the Christopher Reeve episode made a big deal out of his role as Superman, or how the Lynda Carter one...
At first when I heard that a different cover was posted online, I thought it was a fan-made cover redesign. Then I looked and was surprised that it was new. As somebody who never had a problem with the previous cover, I must say that I do like this new cover better (but mainly because it has...
And then there was the time they killed off James Woods for real, but then they later revealed that he was given special hospital treatment only given to celebrities (has James Woods ever really been that famous, though?) which meant that he's now alive and well again.
Maybe they can do...
One thing I've noticed is that although we've heard that this movie will include a wedding and have seen behind-the-scenes photos for the wedding, that hasn't been in any of the trailers. I guess the closest thing would be that we see Kermit and Constantine in tuxedos in the helicopter scene...
